• Zuckerberg announces new Facebook profiles...

I have a facebook page, and I don't mind this change. To me it looks nice, more personal. It seems like now the worth of a profile is measured by how many posts are made about the person's adventures in the getting-wasted-land. The new ones will obviously let people express themselves by other means. However that's the problem. It's turning into a nicer looking myspace.
I'm actually in the beta of this and I think it's really nice. Though some things need improved as it's kinda of a clusterfuck, good idea though.
Too bad it'll be cluttered up with: "David just got a new animal in FarmVille!" "Renee just answered a question about you!" "Keifer posted a new comment on your picture!"
except that's not how the timeline works!!
This design is such a ripoff of Bebo/Myspace. Even though nobody uses that shit anymore. Not many people even used Bebo to begin with lol. But it looks SO similar to Bebo now it's not even funny. But damn though, people are going to HATE Facebook now. They always bitch about the smallest changes and here comes a big one.
Nobody asked for this....
Boo Hoo, Facebook will do what they want, they've been doing pretty well so far...
I use Facebook but I honestly won't care the about any change to it, as long as it serves the basic purpose of being essentially my new chat service. I can still find people I knows profile and talk to them, I can't understand why anyone is so attached to a website layout.

Fuck's sake, this shit is getting worse than youtube
I want this update now. I actually like the updates, not sure why everyone goes batshit crazy and spams every social network with OMG THE FACEBOOK CHANGES SUCK! However, they should allow us to keep old layout too.. Especially the chat.. Fuck sake, the only thing I hate.. I grouped up all my friends, so I could get a better chat and see who I was talking with in case I forgot.. Now? Lol, nope.
I'm liking the timeline, it's make it easier for me to find things I've posted in the past
Well I'm embarrassed by most of the stuff I've posted in the past.
Well I'm embarrassed by most of the stuff I've posted in the past.
then remove it from the timeline or just learn to laugh at it. i went through my timeline last night and it was quite the trip down memory lane! if you want in early, follow this: http://www.geekosystem.com/facebook-developer-timeline/
So Facebook is now to an even greater degree a tool for people to build a perfect image of their lives.
I published my timeline, I got a weird feeling seeing all of my really old statuses. Thank god I wasn't an idiot 2-3 years ago.
I enjoy looking back at my statuses. It shows me that I've gotten more boring over the years. :/
I like it.
I hate the videos that companies like Facebook and Apple put together to promote stuff like this like oh man so inspirational!!! Or the ever-popular "so let's say me and my friend want to have lunch" or "look at these stock photos of a random family having fun!" Google are guilty of it too sometimes but at least they sort of parodied it to promote geolocational search
Welp, they advertised pizza in a very successful way, yet there was no pizza place in the background, I expected that.
Cocksucker-berg is it about time you add HTML tags on the goddamn post system. Like this: Exp, and this: Exp

i don't see anything wrong with it other than the fact that similar items can be either on the left or on the right of the timeline, it's kind of hard to tell what goes where or when
fucking asshole, throwing a baby in the snow.
Doesn't look half bad. I like it.
I liked the Facebook layout from earlier this year the most. I don't mind them changing it every 6 months or so, as long as it's easy to navigate.
http://di.slik.es/ Voilá my Chino-american friend
Justin Bieber top disliked. :v:
i didn't like this idea of new profiles until i saw this wonderful ad campaign! i mean did you guys SEE how cute that baby was? the miracle of life, god i love facebook its just so gosh darn great! [sp]this looks like shit and im so fucking sick of cheesy stories praising middle class white american families that manage to shit out a few kids and do nothing else in their miserable existence, stop making this ad[/sp]
Does Zuckerberg WANT people to switch to Google+? Because at this rate it sure seems like it.
I think people are hating the layout just for the sake of hating something. Who actually invests enough mental energy to care what Facebook looks like? Don't get your collective panties in a bunch just because the layout is changing, it's not that big of a deal.
Doesn't seem too bad.
In the last update when they changed the news feed to "Top News" Google+ became a trending topic on facebook This will only happen again as more people migrate
I like the look of the timeline, but I'm not a fan of having easy access to old Facebook shit. I had to clear out a whole heap of stuff I didn't want seen from 2006, 2007... oh well. It's going to be hilarious to see other peoples profiles when it does roll around to the masses.
Hmm, recording your entire life on a webpage. Have to let that sink in for a moment.
But you can choose your involvement in Facebook right? I mean, you don't have to open up about your shit in there, do you?
