More people die from eating too so maybe there's more to it than comparing numbers.
Educate people on safe usage and consumption and let them make their own choices both with food and with drugs
More people die from eating too so maybe there's more to it than comparing numbers.
If you give someone clean well prepared MDMA, and let them go horse riding, they're more likely to be injured during horse riding. I fail to see how you can play down that comparison, because taking MDMA and horse riding aren't the same as fucking eating. Straw men, straw men everywhere.

If you don't want kids to do drugs, just show them videos or picture of people overdosing. I have vague memories of seeing someone on the floor of some public toilets, slowly dying whilst paramedics tried to save him. With that said, that only put me off Heroin and Meth etc

Stop treating drugs like a fucking boogeyman and actually discuss with them people with a rational approach and show them why each drug has it's downsides like heroin collapsing your veins and fucking you up so badly that you might just stop breathing and shit instead of showing them a picture of some cunt lying dead because of an overdose.

The fact of the matter is the Government don't want kids to do drugs, right? Scaring them is one of the best ways to force that. Whether scare tactics are moral or not is a separate matter. Educating people about drugs in an unbiased matter would only promote drugs, and 'educating' people about drugs in order to stop the use of them would just be another scare tactic.

You can either explain why a drug is bad or shout at a kid THE DRUG IS BAD and show them a dead addict lying in their own vomit, it's up to you. The problem with the second choice is that eventually they'll probably experiment with a drug, maybe weed and realise that they won't lose their shit and die from one puff and start thinking "bullshit man, they fucking lied to me, maybe they lied about everything else." Don't be a retard and follow the shitty, broken, old ways and actually teach them for fuck sake, they're not idiots, they're more than capable of working shit out for themselves and when they learn that you were lying they'll assume you lied about the rest too.

(its one of the shittest drugs I've ever tried btw :v:)
If they seriously want anti-drug campaigns to work they should try the same technique they've done with cigarettes: show people what happens.
If they seriously want anti-drug campaigns to work they should try the same technique they've done with cigarettes: show people what happens.
That's not very anti drug.
If they seriously want anti-drug campaigns to work they should try the same technique they've done with cigarettes: show people what happens.
It only works with cigarettes so well because cigarettes don't really give you a high
It only works with cigarettes so well because cigarettes don't really give you a high
Some do a better job than others. Regular smokes are shit. If you smoke a djarum to fast, you will be on your ass for a while. There are, off the top of my head, at least three other ways of ingesting marijuana that don't put smoke into your lungs. Holding in hits for longer than 2 seconds is unnecessary and dumb, also thc is a bronchodilator.
