This makes no sense to me. Something doesn't seem right about this to me, like why would cops waste their time with this?
This is so crazy, it just has to be made up
I really, sincerely hope it is
i think there IS a law against police interrogating under 18s (might be under 16s) without a parent or other guardian present though
or a lawyer for that matter
I think they where going for a "scared straight" tactic, that went way to far, on a kid way to young, over something far too minor.
Lol they want a quarter of a billion dollars
they deserve every cent of it if this story isn't exaggerated.

No, they don't.

hell no they dont. 250 million dollars for at most 10 hours of horse shit? there's cunts that get nowhere near that for decades of false imprisonment. and maybe the little shit shouldn't be punching over his schoolmates if he doesn't want to face any consequences? if it's as bad as they claim (which i doubt, sounds like he wasn't even there for nearly as long as they claim) then at most the cops should be reprimanded or fired. 250 million dollars lol
Ten hours? That's silly. I could understand if they had him in the school and did it for like 10 minutes but that's just way too much. I think a kid would be terrified of police and going to jail and would confess immediately if they actually had did something.
If any of you didn't know, the VAST majority of people are convicted for crimes that otherwise could not be proven they did because the police/prosecutors use scare tactics to make you basically prove yourself guilty without evidence (plea deals).
most of the time theyre bullshit and the police threaten to smack you with horrendous amounts of jsiltime if you are proven guilty, in contrast to taking some several good years, becoming a slave to a private prison, etc.
who the fuck calls the police on a 7 year old over five dollars?
who the fuck calls the police on a 7 year old over five dollars?
according to the article the school did after that 7 year old punched another one (that he had been apparently bullying for some time) over
Dorie , care to explain why thinking 250 million dollars is an obscene amount to ask for over this a dumb thought?
You just kind of rated all my posts dumb and left without even commenting on the article itself.
And they wonder why a lot of people hate cops.
I don't hate cops. Or the State Patrol. Or the county sheriff.
Seth Acevedo, the boy Wilson was accused of punching and robbing, had been pushed around before by Wilson and other kids, his father Santiago Acevedo said.
“There were always teasing him because of his weight. Sometimes he didn’t even want to go to school because of it,” Santiago Acevedo, 63, told The Post today.
sounds to me like the kid they arrested was just a bully and the cops probably wanted to teach him a lesson. not that that justifies this kind of behaviour.
The police also said that alot of he stuff she said isn't true, sounds like she's just using this as an oppertunity to exaggerate a bit and try to get some compensation. Considering the kid was a bully I hope he's terrified enough to stop doing that shit

yeah man that's exactly what i'm starting to think, they did a little 'scared straight' thing to a little asshole that's been bullying some other kid for ages and finally got physical, and then his useless parent mum saw a golden opportunity to get some coin
He's obviously a little shitbag so who cares
It's a clear sign of abuse but $250 million is being a little fucking greedy imo when will people learn that money doesn't solve everything.
Seems reasonable to me, I don't know his back ground but it'll make him think twice about turning to any kind of crime or bullying again.
Also $250m claim, that is totally nuts, but worthless people trying to play up a sob story for a quick (250m) buck.
If you don't teach kids while they're young in a few years he might be doing serious crimes, brought up with the mindset that stealing, physical violence and bullying are punishable with a "10 minute chat" with the principle.
