"The coalition will review this strike and the circumstances surrounding it to see if any lessons can be learned" This sounds like a business letter. That's pretty sad for military.
Okay, so in your mind, what exactly should they have said to sound more military?
Am I getting this right? Coalition wants to bomb something, tells Russia and Russia doesn't say that these might be Syrian troops until AFTER bombs start exploding?
Reasons to hate Russia in this situation: They support Assad, who is arguably the worst player in this conflict. Even accepting that they support Assad as a good thing, they have bombed rebels who aren't actively fighting Assad, which only helps to support ISIS, also a contender for the worst player title. They spend just as much time bombing aforementioned rebels as they do bombing ISIS which is their declared goal. They had info from the international coalition that this shit was going to get bombed, and decided to not go 'nah don't do that guys'. [sp]conspiritard-time: This could be an attempt at making the US and friends look like the uncooperative part, and/or create precedence to justify bombing of FSA/SDF forces during the ceasefire.[/sp]
When somebody as significant as Russia warned us of something, the normal course of action is to investigate. That is, unless we knew all along.
Okay, so in your mind, what exactly should they have said to sound more military?
They should sign off with over and out and not Regards...
Yes I am Syrian, and I am not pro-Assad, I am pro-Syria. I want my country back the way it was before, I don't care what outsiders think, we were living our lives just fine. The country was actually changing A LOT. He was rebuildings all the roads, making modern buildings, economy was improving a lot, everything was changing! Until the west had to ruin it just like they ruined so many countries. Your governments are so money and power hungry, it's unbelievable how far they go just to get it. The millions of people they have killed in the name of wealth and power is just unbelievable, and you guys still follow them like sheeps!
Love the sterotypical "THE WEST DID THIS" response. You see what actually happened was YOUR government started massacring ITS OWN peaceful civilians. But that was probably just a false flag planted by the west ;)
If the U.S. Central Command is to be believed, this is all on Russia's head for not mentioning the Syrian presence. Pretty cut and dry case.

As a westerner, it's obvious to see Russia has the right idea in supporting Assad, the people America and Europe have been supporting are nothing short of mercenaries for the most part. Syria has been reduced to rubble , what could have been hundreds of deaths is now tens of thousands and contributed to a huge humanitarian refugee crisis. But no, let's keep arming different rebel groups, who totally won't go t war with eachother for power should Assad fall. We totally haven't seen this before, right?
It makes me wonder, would it have been been better if the West had just intervened before it became like this. Drop a few bombs on Assad, make the army surrender, replace him with the moderate opposition while they still existed. Or maybe, the more important question, would it really be worse than it is now? I don't think so, taking out Assad before the islamists gain power would have been good. With no government and opposition rebels fighting each other, islamists would have had a hard time gaining power in the chaos.
I love this, hahaha so you want to create another Iraq, Libya etc. ?
You already have an Iraq (or worse, really) in Syria, this would have possibly avoided it. It could hardly have been worse.

Please I want to hear more about the war in Syria, since you lived there and contact people from there. You must know a lot more about the war then I do. "Should have just bombed Assad and his army" Who the fuck gave you the right? But one day the tides are going to turn just wait and see. One day you will all feel the pain that we feel. One day you will feel the how it is to have your whole country and family killed in the name of power and money. These countries that you guys are killing and committing genocide won't be forgotten.

He put your country in this situation and he has refused to negotiate. An intervention would have been a quicker and possibly more humane way of ending this. This is just dragging on without end for the moment. Syrians don't have sole right to talk about the war either. Would you rather trust a Syrian ISIS supporter than me because he's Syrian? Nationality doesn't matter much here. And Syrians are the people who have failed to resolve this situation so far.

I'm sad to say that this pain you feel is self-inflicted by your own people and their regime, you can't blame everything on foreigners.
Damn you people are so fucking clouded, you guys think your governments are fucking saints
My government are literal saints compared to Assad. Not going to war for 200 years vs mass killing your own people to stay in power. That's not a comparison you want to make.
Damn you people are so fucking clouded, you guys think your governments are fucking saints
Hey where I live we don't just drop chemical weapons on our civilians, my government may do some morally questionable things from time to time, but we're nothing compared to Assad.

Just dont go blow people up please, thanks

I hope what you get in return worth it.
