Zuckerburg is a petty asshole if he thinks using an alias has anything to do with a person's integrity.
zuckerberg in all likelihood did not make this decision
I've been using Ello for about two weeks now. People post a lot more because friends/noise makes them less worried about clogging people's news feed – I never post on Facebook, but have been posting 2-3 times a day on Ello
Facebook gets shittier every day. I wonder how long until people stop using it. It's kind of scary because the death of MySpace happened so quickly, but people are so vested in Facebook that they put up with this stuff
My facebook name is Hassan Schnitzel no one has caught me yet
I used my real first name (Leslie) on Facebook, but I had to take it out. I have no idea how the hell Facebook thinks that would be a fake name.
My legal name, Joshua, isn't on my facebook. Its just Josh. Not sure if that matters or not.. but..
Ello is like vine.
What if you have a weird name?
The site stipulates that a name displayed on a personal account must be “your real name as it would be listed on your credit card, driver's license or student ID.” Queerty reports that the site has even gone as far as to request a copy of a driver’s license from some individual to prove a name is legitimate.
that's funny. when my sister was making her facebook they wouldn't let her use her real name because she happens to have the same name as a celebrity
