Free enterprise at its best.
God bless 'murrica!
Are you serious? Damn BestBuy what's wrong wit you?
i would like to trademark "panda" because it is in my username
also the word "the"
I prefer 'nerd' to geek. Iirc geek used to mean someone in the circus who used their physical deformaties as entertainment.
I fucking hate the word Geek.
let's make up a new word
Fleep
stop being a fleep powa killerdeux
how about gnerd
pronounced like gnome
Doomish is now my own trademarked word.
You can no longer use it, and I am already expecting royalty payments from several Metal-based music forums. Thank you in advance.
This is like Garry telling facebook to stop using the word face, because he made facewound first.
thats funny because the other day i was talking to one of the employees about the price of an HDMI cable and i said "well i could just order one off newegg.com for nearly nothing compared to these prices" and he said "that website, you shouldnt trust they sell you used and refurbished items and there evil" :v:
Oh jeez, how stupid can they get?
Oh, wait. You're not a robot. Just a bad troll. Nevermind, then.
Oh boy...
When I was at best buy I saw an employee spill his drink on a display computer and I laughed heartily at both him having a drink near a computer in a store and for spilling it. :v:
I always have a drink on my desk.
Best Buy's just jelly that NewEgg has better deals and a better reputation.
I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I'm pretty sure you can't trademark a word. It has to be something you made up. I happen to have a dictionary older than either the Geek Squad or Newegg, and it contains the word 'geek'. Thus, Best Buy's trademark shouldn't exist, as the word was around before they were.

Yes, lets trademark a common fruit.
It's funny because that commercial is closer to what Best Buy is that Best Buy commercials. When I have to interrupt an employee explaining computer specs to my dad and correct him =, I think it's safe to say they're not qualified to work there.

It was pretty much spot on.
I don't know what it is but in couple last years I went from not really minding best buy to absolutely fucking hating it. Mainly because of Geek Squad's bullshit and their horrible customer service/fucking card pushing.

So what, if Soma, or some other cheap-ass brand of electronics, released their own line of products under the name "Apple", that was blatantly copying Apple, it should go unpunished?
The FBI wouldn't waste their time investigating copyrights or trademarks. :downs:
No, you're right, the NSA usually handles that.
