Yes why?
I know you're being sarcastic, but please enlighten me why you wouldn't, apart from "I think it looks icky".

Alexguydude is just a bigot, ignore him.
Hell when I proved him wrong in the last thread his response was basically, "wow u think ur smart well ur not im right ur wrong."
Funny how he also said his time was far too valuable for this shit and yet he continues further wasting his time on it by searching for a bad transition pic.
Hm
Tradition is saying something should be done with no actual argument put forth aside from "Well, we do it so it must be right."
I feel like using tradition as an argument is something that is immediately dismissable and should in some cases be considered along the lines of using something like Fox News simply because it's actually an argument with literally no logic behind it. Tradition is not an argument but a childish demand for familiarity.
using traditions as an argument is a clear sign of someone clinging to the past; someone who is afraid of change, for the better.
You know who else uses the traditions argument?
Those against gay marriage.

The chairman of the board of Jelly Belly, Herman Rowland Sr., is on record as having donated $5,000 in September to Privacy for All Students, a group dedicated solely to repealing Assembly Bill 1266. The legislature passed the law — which guarantees transgender students have equal access to bathrooms, locker rooms, sport teams and other gender-segregated facilities at school — and it was signed by California Gov. Jerry Brown in August. But Privacy for All Students is trying to get enough signatures to have it eventually overturned.
I really have a strong opinion on this argument as a whole, but this thread is just kind of being run into the ground, and I'd just be rewording a few other posts anyway, so I'll just say this:
A seventy year old dude who helps run a goddamn jelly bean factory donates to a campaign to stop a certain group of people from finding acceptance in schools, these trans students who are harming basically no one except the bigoted. In other news: what the actual fuck?
This almost feels like a rough draft for an Onion article.
As much as I want to have someone who is a girl who thinks they are a boy come into a mens restroom or vice versa. I would feel really awkward if I was taking a leak and someone who looks like a girl walks in and goes into a stall. But in time I guess that will not be a problem, just because people will get used to it.

assassin, you misunderstand. transgender people don't just think they're of a gender that doesn't coincide with their sex, they are actually of that gender, whatever it may be.

Traditionally only white landed men could sit in parliament. I miss those days.
There's a difference between a "cause you don't like" and a cause that's fighting for restricting the rights of a certain demographic. You can't keep holding up the "it's-my-opinion" shield. Everyone knows there's an obvious line you cross when your opinion is just a preference, towards your opinion is quite actually harmful.
There's literally a comic about this, someone yelling at Hitler how he can't just go around killing Jews, and Hitler says "wow, its just my opinion, someone needs to grow up, jeez, let me be." Just swap Hitler with the chairman, "killing" with "discriminating against," and "Jews" with "transgender community."
Not even comparable. The guy's a douche, yes, but he isn't Hitler.
Not even comparable. The guy's a douche, yes, but he isn't Hitler.
You didnt read, the point was that he has no reason other than "its my opinion" for why trans people shouldnt get rights.
Not that this directly relates to the article, but
I'm all for social integration, no matter the sexuality, race, etc., but I'm severely against social segregation. A lot of this does spring from transsexual segregation, which is a bad thing, making transsexuals think they are different from other people.
We really need invite registration. The amount of troll gimmicks that are coming in is fucking insane.
They're not closing the registration anytime soon though, because otherwise the Rust section would be totally empty.
It'll be great when they eventually do though.

Oops.
Well this guy is a dick for supporting a group that wants to take away human rights. I can't wait for all the old bigots to die so we can finally get to giving everyone the rights they deserve.
He can donate to whoever he wants i guess
like i care
his money, he can do what he wants.
Agree, but that doesn't mean he isn't a jerk for doing so.
He can donate to whoever he wants i guess

Not when it infringes on my rights.

Denying basic human rights that should be given to everyone?
Dick move.

But he doesn't like transgender people so it makes it perfectly okay!
He's blowing his own money on things he's going to be unable to prevent. On top of this, people might actually boycott his products because they don't favor his actions, and thereby he's losing money.
I see the problem, but at the same time I see a bigot losing money.
Privacy for All Students
Maybe they asked him for support, and he just looked at their name then gave them some cash?
