I don't hate people for being transgendered, but myself don't think it is really the best decision. I think this for two main reasons: 1. Shouldn't you be happy how you are born? If somebody was paying money to get a nose job or boob job I think most of you would be saying this. If one wants to crossdress that is okay I guess, but changing your entire gender when in the future these people could possibly decide they actually weren't fully decided could be a huge mistake. 2. It could be very misleading to others. How would you like it if you went to bar and met a girl and had sex only to find out she used to be a man?

How would you like it if you went to bar and met a girl and had sex only to find out she used to be a man?[/QUOTE] for the first one, it's not really a matter of just being happy with how you're born, because for transgenders it's more than just not having big enough boobs or a nice looking nose, it's like having your entire body be completely wrong, your body and therefore societies perceptions and expectations of you being completely opposite. for the second one i agree that's a bit of a tricky one, i think until transgenderism becomes more accepted it should be something you'd be open with if you're going to be having sex/a relationship. or maybe stick to trans* friendly bars, like how there are gay bars and stuff

I fully support gay rights but trans stuff is just too far for me. It's just too weird/unnatural and most of all pointless. I highly doubt there are people who ABSOLUTELY NEED to have their dick cut off to live a happy life. I just can't think of a logical reason they need to change genders, like at all
