Why are so many people doing stuff like this lately? Are people really becoming that dumb that the only way they can entertain themselves is through killing things?
No, it's always happened this much is my bet, it's just now that we hear about it all the time
Nothing new to the internet.
Having the power over life and death is another motivating factor for sociopaths. That's why some of them become doctors.
Just to point out... Sociopaths aren't violent or dangerous. Sociopaths merely lack the ability to feel empathy. That doesn't make them hardened killers. It's always been psychopaths and always will be psychopaths that are dangerous.
a human is a human
And a living thing is a living thing [editline]24th December 2010[/editline]
Just to point out... I know a sociopath and he never killed an animal while I know like 5 guys who do have empathy and have tortured and killed for the fun of it.
no, he should be arrested, be given a psychological evaluation, and locked up for a time to be determined by the results of the test. prison isn't just for making people right again, it's also for keeping the same shit from happening again, or in this case, to keep worse shit (i.e. murder etc) from happening.
And a living thing is a living thing
that makes no sense how many kittens do you see going on a killing spree and being sentenced to death
that makes no sense how many kittens do you see going on a killing spree and being sentenced to death
I don't think...he was saying that kittens = human [editline]24th December 2010[/editline]
Just to point out...
I don't think...he was saying that kittens = human
neither did I
that makes no sense how many kittens do you see going on a killing spree and being sentenced to death
Cats have to eat for food. when a human willingly gets an animal and tortures it then there is a difference. what is so hard about that?

That's it. They are TOTALLY normal people minus the fact they can't feel empathy. By this definition, a lot of people are sociopaths including myself. That doesn't make me likely to be a killer, there's a severe stigma with the word sociopath that is entirely wrongly placed. [editline]24th December 2010[/editline]
The difference between them is that psychopaths tend to be a lot more organized and better at pretending to be normal.
I don't know why this is complicated because it really isn't, psychologists define sociopath as someone who lacks empathy. That is it. Nothing else is wrong with them. Sociopaths ARE normal people.
Characteristics of people with antisocial personality disorder may include:[2] * Persistent lying or stealing * Apparent lack of remorse[3] or empathy for others * Cruelty to animals[4] * Poor behavioral controls — expressions of irritability, annoyance, impatience, threats, aggression, and verbal abuse; inadequate control of anger and temper * A history of childhood conduct disorder * Recurring difficulties with the law * Promiscuity * Tendency to violate the boundaries and rights of others * Aggressive, often violent behavior; prone to getting involved in fights * Inability to tolerate boredom * Poor or abusive relationships * Irresponsible work behavior * Disregard for safety
And
a pervasive pattern of disregard for, and violation of, the rights of others that begins in childhood or early adolescence and continues into adulthood." [1]
doesn't sound TOTALLY normal to me.
There's a lot more to it than that, but even if it wasn't, feeling empathy is a pretty damn important part of being human.
Lack of empathy leads to all those things perhaps. Either way, sociopaths aren't inherently dangerous people.
I hope he goes to jail, since killing him would be an easy way out. I'd rather have him get raped everyday in jail.
I hope he goes to jail, since killing him would be an easy way out. I'd rather have him get raped everyday in jail.
hahaha you're a moron
Lack of empathy leads to all those things perhaps. Either way, sociopaths aren't inherently dangerous people.
Not inherently , but it's much easier to hurt people when don't care about how the feel.
Internet hate machine, roll out.
hahaha you're a moron
hahahaha! You didn't realize it was a joke!
are you actually saying that burden of proof is "meaningless" jesus christ doriol why are you such a terrible poster but fine just so that you shut up for the record it's not "my place" I'm Canadian but here a quick google search turned up this http://www.politics.co.uk/briefings-guides/issue-briefs/policing-and-crime/prison-rehabilitation-$366690.htm
UK prisons are pretty shite for rehabilitation, regardless of what they teach you inside noone wants to hire an Ex-con, so the easiest route is back into crime.
Not discounting that. I'm just saying we should wait for the whole story before we knee-jerk and say that he should be thrown in prison for life.
He needs mental help that's for sure, no one who was sane would do stuff like this.
I hope he gets a full sentence and serves his time. That's all we can pray for.
UK prisons are pretty shite for rehabilitation, regardless of what they teach you inside noone wants to hire an Ex-con, so the easiest route is back into crime.
Well that isn't really the prisons fault, it's just companies don't want ex-prisoners, which in a way is understandable. [editline]24th December 2010[/editline]
I hope he gets a full sentence and serves his time. Putting him prison will just make him ore likely to end up as one.

I'm not saying jail, I'm saying he gets his sentence which is a broad term meaning consequences for his actions.
My avatar as of this time says it all
....Sentence can be psychiatric care with check ins to note progress. This isn't just some sadistic tard who killed a kitten for a laugh with his friends. The lengths he went too, to kill the kitten show there is something not right in his head, like he simply killed the kittens for the sake of killing them.
