Yea I guess two different companies are developing call of duty on a two year cycle but its still a new game coming out every year with around 4 15$ DLCs following with the last one coming out months before the next call of duty.

That was actually part of Bungie's first post Halo Vidoc. There is about 5 seconds of that area in video.

Ignoring the fact that Freelancer was made by Digital Anvil, a company that was shut down in 2006, and is in no way related to Bungie, Freelancer 2 was actively in development until Digital Anvil went defunct.

Which is to say the game was started at some point, and cancelled six years ago.

We won't be getting a Freelancer 2.

I'm not that worried about Activsion, I'm worried about the bi-yearly thing. I hope they don't rush things because of deadlines like they were forced to with Halo 2's story.
