When a person enters a fight, a cop included, the body automatically gives the heart a massive shot of adrenaline. Past a heartrate of 120BPM (Usually goes to about 140 or so, if not more) Fine and Moderate motor control is lost. Literally lost. You can't write your name, you can't grab a moving hand, and you sure as hell can't use fine martial techniques to incapacitate someone like James Bond. You can punch holes in walls. You can jump nearly three times as high as you'd normally be able to. But you can't get that sort of fine motor control unless you've spent years and years conditioning your body to NOT kick in a combat reaction. Martial arts does that. Techniques police use are simpler, and they work. If you were in that cop's position you'd either have lost it and beat the shit out of her or lost your nerve and shit yourself.

adrenaline would probably be the only thing needed in this case, she was already fighting with them when the taser was used..it was probably a combination of her body composition and just plain adrenaline. bad ass.
