uhh this wasn't murder, this was manslaughter, which is usually around an 8-year sentence, and usually only 4 years of that is actually served. why you have so many agrees is beyond me, i suppose facepunchers in SH aren't informed enough to make the distinction

Honestly I personally believe that a church should not be allowed to give such sentence.

Of course I'm from a country which has nulla poena sine lege certa, scripta, strict et praevia.

Could also potentially be merely negligent manslaughter. Though I don't know how it is in the US if DUI will make you fall out of the negligent space or not.
