kel-tec pistols (their clunky 45s, at least) are supposedly indestructible. Other than their cheap construction, uncomfortable ergonomics, awful triggers and shoddy sights they are apparently decent guns.

no wait I'm thinking of hi-points nevermind
That's like saying "other than the slow processor, clunky keyboard, terrible trackpad and poor quality speakers, this laptop is actually decent"
i don't think the make of the gun is really what anybody should be concerned about. maybe more about the fact that they're giving a gun back to an idiot that proved himself ill fit for a weapon of any kind, maybe that's what's actually concerning about this
jesus
yea lol! except for the way invader zimmer used his gun in the fucking textbook way you should use a concealed firearm when your life is endangered

yes i'm sure the martin family is reading this post right now
You can name weapons after a kill. Ofcourse you can just say it has a name anyways but it's not the same.
...what? why?

Bud, I don't actually care what model it was. The case is over, the jury found him innocent. I've long since moved on. I'm just making light of what is really just a pointless article.
Ew, a Kel-Tec. They aren't doing him any favors by returning it.
The wine cooler of pistols.
HEY EVERYONE I KNOW A LOT ABOUT GUNS HEY GUYS LOOK AT ME
That's like saying "other than the slow processor, clunky keyboard, terrible trackpad and poor quality speakers, this laptop is actually decent"
An ak has crappy sights, cheap construction, is inaccurate compared to it's competition and is still considered good. Why? Cheap, reliable and durable.
Just because someone can name off bad points of something doesn't mean it is bad, if you attempt to make a gun that is the best in every category nobody would buy it, not out of principle, or other guns do ti better, but rather you'd end up with something oversized and expensive.
HEY EVERYONE I KNOW A LOT ABOUT GUNS HEY GUYS LOOK AT ME
Whoa there captain serious, put that internet rage boner away, nobody wants to see that.
Should they not keep that particular gun as evidence, and supply him with a new one?
If there is another lawsuit (as the article says they might), would they not potentially still need it as evidence?
Because idiots think they know more about what happened in crime that they didn't witness and have more of a say on the official verdict in a court room they weren't even in. Same deal with the Casey Anthony trial, OJ trial, and the Rodney King trial.
It also doesn't help with the massive media sensationalism and certain media groups editing phone call audio to make it seem like Zimmerman is a huge racist.
It annoys me so much when I see people jumping to there own conclusions that were (probably) fed to them by the media and Chinese whispers.
I just think its wrong to jump to rash decisions when you don't ACTUALLY know what happened.
Case closed now surely? Move on and bring on the next gun related victim.
HEY EVERYONE I KNOW A LOT ABOUT GUNS HEY GUYS LOOK AT ME
hey everyone im going to call out someone for going into details about a gun in a thread where "gun" is in the title
I didn't know he was rolling with a tec 9. What a G
A Keltec Tec 9, not a Intratec Tec 9.
How about you call it what it is: the murder weapon.
I wasn't aware the investigation was on-going.
He will need more than his gun he will need guns, lots of guns!
I am really sorry for zimmerman, he will be harrassed everywhere he goes from batshit insane people. He needs to change his name cut the beard and let the hair grow and wear sunglasses or some shit outside so hes not that easily recognizable.
I don't understand what this means.
I think he's suggesting now that the gun has tasted blood, it became sentient and requires a name. I like Paul, personally.
If I was him I'd just straight up leave the country.
And/or plastic surgery and identity change.
Probably not the smartest thing to say with tensions being as high as they are.
And yet 100% true. There are lunatics out there that A: Want blood and B: Aren't afraid to break the law. Zimmerman's going to be walking around with his head on a swivel for the rest of his life most likely.
I think he's suggesting now that the gun has tasted blood, it became sentient and requires a name. I like Paul, personally.
Let's call it Martin instead.
I think he's suggesting now that the gun has tasted blood, it became sentient and requires a name. I like Paul, personally.
I'm pretty sure it's either that, or a gun not being a real gun if it never kills anyone.
Should they not keep that particular gun as evidence, and supply him with a new one?

No, he cannot be charged again as he had a double jeapordy declared. Which essentially means he cant be tried on this case again.
If there is another lawsuit (as the article says they might), would they not potentially still need it as evidence?
They might need it, in which case they could request it - but it's widely established and agreed that it was the weapon he used, so there probably isn't a need for it to be present in any lawsuit he might face.
[editline]16th July 2013[/editline]
Also the murder case wasn't a lawsuit.
trade it in for some skittles
He carried his weapon with a permit, held a concealed weapon license, and used it in a legally justifiable self-defense case. Why would the state be able to keep it away from him?
Because he's an extremly dangerous wannabe racist super hero who murdered a kid?
Oh but the jury of white people fed a really paper thin defence found him innocent, so it's fine.

Zimmerman was the defense.

If we're talking about murder, you just did a good job bludgeoning basic reasoning to death.
Because he's an extremly dangerous wannabe racist super hero who murdered a kid?
Trayvon was 17. Referring to him like a kid makes me think and I imagine most people think he's like 12. A 17 year old could beat up a chubby 28 year old and put his life at risk.
We can't prove anything but Trayvon probably attacked Zimmerman at some point.
Because he's an extremly dangerous wannabe racist super hero who murdered a kid?

Oh you were at the court trial? Can you give us some specific details on the trial that the general public and mass media are missing out on?
of all fucking things the mafia
well I don't think he would fare too well if he hired a group of african american gangsters

The prosecution was purely based upon what if statements, the defense had stated every event that had definitively occurred. The jury had even asked for clarification of the specific charges against him and what they meant.
If anything the only thing paper thin in the trial is the amount of actual evidence.
well I don't think he would fare too well if he hired a group of african american gangsters
To be honest, seeing as idiots on twitter has shown their intent to kill him with automatic long guns, the state should really hand him a small security detail consisting of one or two people for a month or two until it blows over, most likely from a pmc
