Treyarch Rages At Glitch Exploiters In 'Call Of Duty: Black Ops'

I've played blackops for some time now online and i dont even know any of the glitches. not sure if ive been a victim of glitch abuse but i couldnt care less tbh, i just want the multiplayer lagging / screen tearing to end
I fucking agree, the amount of times I've had a match ruined in MW2 because of a 12 year-old exploiter is unbelievable.
BC2 when it came out never had any glitches to my knowledege...unlike fucking CoD games.
So may goddamn patches i swear.
that's why Battlefield > CoD any day
Am I the only person that's never received any lag?
Maybe if they didn't skip the Quality Insurance there wouldn't be as many bugs.
Sadly most developers either skip QA entirely or have only a days testing before release.
Pointless if you ask me.
Because that's going to happen, right?
That's what I am saying, they're not a very friendly developer.
I'm confused about whether or not treyarch hired fucking testers or not, it certainly feels like they didn't.
However, I'm sure you are really impressed by the exploding remote control race cars, motion sensors, and the technology that allows death to be painless and never permanent (unless you're a-searching and a-destroyin').
Nope. RC cars and exploding crossbows are part of what made me decide to not buy this game

lol
I exploit every single game I own. Raging nerds makes it all the better, if the devs didnt want me to do it then they will either fix their shit or they wouldnt have released it in such a condition.
If they didn't want me to shit in the pool then they wouldn't have had a pool :downs::downs::downs:
glitching is the fun part of the game
Treyarse.
glitching is the fun part of the game
People like you are assholes, would you just play the game the way it is supposed to be played?
Vonderhaar is a pretty cool guy, eh kills hackers and doesn't afraid of anything.
Meanwhile, we have unfunny idiots who do nothing but steal other videos they find on the Internet and ramble on about them in a video they cut after every sentence so it looks like they jump from one corner of the screen to the other.
It is really unfortunate that, thanks to the Internet, it takes absolutely no effort or hard work to be "famous," when one can throw up an unfunny and horrible video onto YouTube and become "famous."
"Some are people using old dashboards or old versions of the game," Vonderhaar wrote in the game's official forums,
How the fuck can people be using "older versions of the game" if the damn game just came out a few days ago?
In the end, he expressed a vote of confidence in Treyarch's team that's now working on fixes for problems that have materialized. If you're one of the people he's referencing who've posted a glitch exploitation in action online, though, you might want to want in the other direction if you ever run into him on the street and he knows who you are.
Meanwhile the PC version is virtually unplayable, and clearly they only care about Xbox 360.

oh my god he said douche bag hes prolly crying right now this is mind blowing holy shit look how mad he is
Don't ship broken shit, dipshits.
To expect a developer to release a game free of exploits, when at least hundreds of thousands of people are trying to find them, is ridiculous.
Don't ship broken shit, dipshits.
Ah perfect, right here we have an example of why (good) PC games are dying.
Developers are making ovepolished bullshit that's been worked to be totally foolproof and locked up as tight as a nuns panties.
Now, treyarch bitching about it, that's different, they need to deal with it. Games are never bug free, people should understand that, and no bug will go un-abused, developers need to understand that.
David Vonderhaar is a little bitch
this is why you should test your games before you sell it.
Oh my god I'm bathing in this butthurt it's simply orgasmic.
Maybe they should remove the glitches if they don't want people abusing them
That'd be too easy :downs:
Wait, so where is he raging? His entire quote says the...complete opposite?
From a corporate and community standpoint, it seems like a pretty measured response.
Uh, from a corporate standpoint, he's foaming at the mouth and screaming at the top of his lungs. Offical response tend to be extremely formal and placating.
The day you show me a game that has no glitches and work perfectly will be the day I give you 500 bucks.
Zork.
I'll have my 500 bucks now.
To expect a developer to release a game free of exploits, when at least hundreds of thousands of people are trying to find them, is ridiculous.
Hundreds of thousands of people finding them and having them reported gets them fixed. It's a shame they have to do a bit more work fixing their mistakes for the billions of dollars they've made, eh?
Who are these people and why are they exploiting me?!?! :ohdear:
[editline]12th November 2010[/editline]
i'm serious guys im scared
No bug was ever as fun as the javelin glitch or care package glitch.
370 emergency airdrops in one game, I miss that :(
Butthurt much?
If this happened to Valve they'd would be all like:
"Cool, you guys were smarter than us by exploiting our mistake. Now we will fix it."
"P.S: People who didnt do it will get a nice hat."
OR more favorably:
"We would like to integrate this into gameplay because it is a fun and balanced tactic if everyone knows about it."
