Hybrid batteries tease big energy capacity while charging in seconds
I'm sure you would just swap batteries when that became the case. Remember though, let's say you get about 150 miles per charge.
150 * 20000 is still 3 million miles before a battery swap (give or take a few hundred thousand miles, since nothing in reality is exact.)
It'd be more like 140 * 20000 because no one is going to come to home with a literally 0% battery every time
Superprius wouldn't work.
It'd be so light it'd just float away.
But it's too good so we may never ever get it soon!

Fair enough, still though, that's a pretty big number. I don't plan to drive more than 100k miles in one car, let alone 1 million+ miles
This is the exact kind of shit you need to build laser rifles, batteries that can deliver large amounts of energy in under a second.
Isn't 20,000 cycles lightyears better than commercial rechargeable batteries? Would be pretty nice for portable gadgets and such.
Reload them that fast? Man if the iPhone had batteries like this I might consider buying one.
