how does adding people in this work, anyways? I linked my twitter, do I have to follow people or something?
how does adding people in this work, anyways? Same as most "find your friends" sort of stuff on social media [editline]31st March 2016[/editline] Definitely a surprisingly competent and well made effort for Nintendo on its first try. It's hard to believe that it lacks the bullshit online issues that have plagued their online services for years. I really hope this bodes well for future apps and console efforts.

can't use this on jailbroken iPhones unless you download a tweak that fixes the app's jailbreak detection, seems like. It wouldn't work on mine even with the fix :(
We should start a Miitomo thread in General [editline]Edited[/editline] sweet! someone did!
We should start a Miitomo thread in General
https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1512784 that typo in the thread title is killing me tho
So it'll get old in ten minutes?
Yeahhh a bit. "Nick gets happy when he: thinks about dongs" loses its charm rather quickly.
Yeahhh a bit. "Nick gets happy when he: thinks about dongs" loses its charm rather quickly.
People will still use it to get free My Nintendo coins
[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7333627/ShareX/2016-03/31T235016.png[/t]
This isn't entirely true, since only the initial install is 32MB. Once you run it for the first time, it downloads additional content that bumps it up to 540MB.
It crashes on rooted phones? lol nintendo stop being so ass backwards. you won't limit my freedom just because I am using your software on a platform you don't own
Yeahhh a bit. "Nick gets happy when he: thinks about dongs" loses its charm rather quickly.
it satisfies a trivia itch I see a lot on facebook and tumblr. People fill out (or ask people to ask for specific ones from) big sets of ~fun~ questions all the time. After I got bored of answering/reading questions I've found that commenting on questions with miifotos is p fun. The ability to use pictures on your phone as backgrounds opens up a lot of dumb nonsense and my cats are mad I keep pestering them [t]http://i.imgur.com/YkZteHV.png[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/T8lUb7D.png[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/mdXEAVP.png[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/NTgf550.png[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/6aT4JdC.png[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/hx6HmDS.png[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/FNfEEgN.png[/t] only thing it's missing is the ability to draw on the screen with your finger
[t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Ce66_WJW4AAAmNA.jpg:large[/t] clothes aren't gender-locked which is pretty cool!
[t]http://i.imgur.com/WFNCHrW.png[/t] even the mii is surprised they did really well in making a lot of things neutral with customization and access to certain things. Nothing is offlimits and at the same time nothing's negatively affected by it, I think selecting gender at the beginning just starts you with some tailored presets to work from and make it easier for most people. Same thing for censorship, I think the only reason we're so free to swear it up is because the acquisition of friends is so strictly tied down to people you have in social circles, so you don't end up with strangers sending off-colored garbage to little kids with the app
[t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Ce66_WJW4AAAmNA.jpg:large[/t] clothes aren't gender-locked which is pretty cool!
They weren't in Tomodachi Life either.
i love how nintendo resorted to pure shitposting to advertise it in america

Is there a way to add people via username?
Is there a way to add people via username?
Sadly, no. It's either doing it face-to-face, by being friends/mutual followers on social media or being the friend of a friend.

This app is an absolute battery killer on the samsung s6. There's also frame lag when mii's are walking around. I want to use this but I need my phone for work and can't afford to spend so much of my battery to just check a comment every now and then. Since I downloaded this I've been getting home from work with 15-20% battery and previously it was nearly 40%+ I think there's almost too much polish on the graphical elements on this for what it is. Especially considering it has to LOAD for a couple of seconds every time you launch it. Also even though it's not censored it's still got the trademarked nintendo baby sitting where you can't add anyone not directly linked to you in some way. It's really fun to use though!
Is there a way to add people via username?
easiest way is following each other on twitter make a twitter burner acct if you need to

That's one of the strengths of consoles. Look at the compatibility issues people have been having here, or things like choppy framerate and battery drain. Not all smart device hardware is equal, but they're all still considered the same platform.
It's pretty neat
root crash has been removed in the latest update btw
what a magical app, thanks nintendo
