This is mostly true for most games but the obvious exception has to be Watchdogs.
You could re-enable most of the watch-dogs stuff that they disabled iirc. The code even had comments talking shit about PC-gamers. That's most of why I refuse to buy another Ubisoft game actually. I'm sorry that I spent a lot of money on my hobby and on your product and expect it to actually fucking work as advertised.
The code even had comments talking shit about PC-gamers.
I don't believe it was shit talking PC players, it was just saying that a particular function was for the PC platform only, unless there's other comments which I'm unaware of.
What about the L4D2 boycott?
Honestly "x boycott" never works with PC gamers. No matter the game most of the people who take part in said boycott will be massively retarded and just continue buying the games they claim are ruining gaming. This kind of shit is much harder to actively track with console gamers, but I expect it's pretty similar. Gaming is possibly the one and only consumer market where no matter how fucking terribly a company supposedly treats its customers, the customers will never actually stop buying the games. It's like consumer Stockholm Syndrome. And be fucking wary of shit you read on the Internet when it comes to "anti-consumer" companies because people will happily make things up if needed.

Unless there's another comment that I didn't see.

All you had to do to boycott it was do nothing.
its not just PC gamers, boycotts in general never work with gamers, because gamers as a group have almost no willpower.
I was thinking maybe this will mean we won't get shitty, buggy unoptimized ports for PC as much but then I remembered that a ton of Ubisoft games on the consoles sucked and were barely completed aswell.
Nah, what these sales numbers really mean is that PC users are more than willing to pay for and preorder broken garbage from a company with a history of producing broken garbage. The free market at work, people
