damn, didn't even know such a thing was possible...
also i like how most of the people posting cared more about the name than the actual story :v:
And this is before Breaking Bad with the blue crystal?
i don't think the two girls were associated closely enough for anyone to make that long shot of a breaking bad joke
I'm more impressed that you can survive with that amount of blood.
My parents were actually considering "Heddwch" (which means peace in Welsh) as a name for me at one point, thank god they didn't choose it :v:
How do you pronounce that?
How do you pronounce that?

I'm sorry, but naming your child Hope is really dramatic and stupid even in a situation like this. I mean, when she grows up, her name will still be Hope.
Nothing particularly abnormal about the name, to be honest. It's kind of an old New England tradition to name one's daughters that way. Hope, Charity, Bottom Line, all the traditional New England religious virtues.
I once knew a guy named Sky.
Which isn't that bad, until you met his sister, Cloud.
Wait, how do they lose the blood? I'm no expert on foetal growth but surely the blood is contained inside the body in much the same way ours is, how did 80% of it just vanish and where did it go? Surely the doctors know "Shit this is a lot of afterbirth", does it just gather in the womb and wait?
Also, my mate has a younger sister named Hope. It's a stupid name.

It enters the maternal circulation because the placenta fails to serve its function as an intermediary between the fetal and maternal circulation. Placental abruption, trauma, or even spontaneous occurrence of feto-maternal haemorrhage are the main causative reasons. In such a case a transfusion has to be done for the baby while it's still in the womb in case it happens to be too young for immediate delivery, otherwise delivery will be induced.

Hope is a pretty common name in america
I was in a restaurant with my gf and I heard a young girl say "I want to name my first baby A-E-I-O-U... mommy how do you say that?". All I could think of was Microsoft Sam saying "Aeiou" and I was dying inside trying not to laugh.
How do you pronounce that?
I think it's Hethukh.
How do you pronounce that?
It's Welsh, it isn't meant to be spoken.
The singular purpose of Welsh is so that the Welsh people can pretend to speak with one another away from English ears; it's not actually anything other than a random assortment of Ys, Ws, and Ls.

I was at a train station in Wales once on holiday and there were these 2 dudes near us speaking Welsh.
Dear Lord, atleast my name was picked from a book instead of the first thing you can think of.
I'm fairly happy that in some countries you have a closed of name list.

Isn't that the case in most countries?
Slight loss of fetal blood occurs in 98 percent of pregnancies, but hardly ever to this degree and rarely do babies survive.
Man, this sentence was confusing. I was thinking, "Babies rarely survive in 98 percent of pregnancies? Damn."
Does it shoot spectral tears?
Hope is a pretty normal name, all things considered. There were a few people with that name in my high school and no one gave them shit for it.
