Yeah, I know, cops are always out to kill people. Their motto is on the side of every cop car "Serve, protect, and then ram a truck through the wall and kill them" SWAT teams have a lovely variety of neat toys that let them see into places they shouldn't be able to. Therma camerals, snake cameras, laser mics, windows on the side of the house, mirrors on sticks, and simply knocking on one door with a fake package delivery while ramming the other. They are generally professionals. The fact that you haven't heard of this before only emphasizes that fact because SWAT teams all over the US have been using rams for decades.
Okay, so, me criticising a way of beaching a house means I'm saying all cops are out to kill people. How fucking ignorant do you have to be to get that out of what I said. Seriously. [editline]1st September 2011[/editline]
In this case the killing probably had less to do with ramming as a tactic and more with the fact that the driver was Steven Seagal. I mean I don't know what kind of training he went through but he seems less than qualified to be doing this.
Fair enough, I can agree with that - You should teach Gunfox not have such terrible points.
Wow, he's so proud of himself.

They are trained professionals who devote their life to preserving life and you act like one of the tactics that is almost universally employed, is stupid.
When it's reckless and ineffective, yeah, then something is wrong. But I want to know how in the absolute fuck you managed to get what you implied out of what I said - I really want to know how your silly little apologist mind works.
ineffective
I don't see how driving a tank into a wall is an ineffective way to breach the wall. Furthermore,
reckless
The point of it is for SWAT to entered a semi-armored compound in a way that criminals can not react to. If they just try to breach the fucking door then a firefight will start before they have an advantage. If they're already pointing guns at the criminals in their own fortified position while they're on their ass then that SWAT team has a vast advantage. This tactic keeps SWAT lives safer in dangerous situations, and it's one of the most effective methods of breach and clear. If I were SWAT I'd also rather risk animal death than death of my own squad mates.
It's not just risking animal death, it's risking human death or severe injury. Crashing a fucking armoured vehicle into a house is dangerous. If you think it's the most effective, then go talk to gunfox, he seems to think otherwise.
