RES is the only way it's browsable on a computer. 99% of the time I use Alienblue on my phone because it's much better than the website which is sad.

I think we need to start a petition to get Garry to make his own engine.
He's right that HL2/CSS content is what makes Gmod fun but if he made it so model importing was easy, and there was like one or two easily reskinned/moddable ragdolls, the game would expand infinitely.
Right off the bat he could add simple stuff like PHX props so there's something to build with.
Like Botch? I doubt it'd go far. Source 2 will probably bring source to a much needed step higher(i.e. less shitty as the current version). Hopefully they'll allow people to license the code, atleast adding mod ability.

Garry most probably knows who he is. I think he even responded to him directly at some point. I don't think Garry cares enough to actually be angry at someone for creating a sub-forum without his permission, he probably just wanted to get him in line.
