Kinda reminds me of this one book I read once Humans achieved infinite lifespan by getting "regenerations" every so often, with the downside being they couldn't reproduce children. Sex still worked though. There was also some shit about not remembering anything from before the first regeneration or something I don't remember it changed tone into a romance novel like ten chapters in and I had to return the book.

It was actually a decent sci-fi novel until the jarring as fuck tone change.
