I thought you played the zombie getting fucked?
It's so hard to keep these David Cage games straight.
I don't even remember there being zombies
I don't even remember there being zombies
[sp]the main character guy who is framed for murder becomes a super-powered zombie at some point in the game becuase he's the "chosen one" or some shit.[/sp]
Also, what if for example a game in the states is rated AO but in Australia it's rated R18+ or with PEGI it's rated something minor?
Does the rules have to affect all audiences from across the world, why the fuck should a European broadcaster give 2 shits about the ERSB
I've never played Manhunt 2 ... is it really that bad?
Hopefully more streamers switch to alternatives of Twitch.
Also fear any social media company that says these words.
Our goal at Twitch is to create a safe, welcoming, inclusive community platform where everyone can feel comfortable and have fun.
thats PR talk for "we will censor anything we don't like at anytime."
reddit said it a few weeks ago for example and they continually censor any content about the reddit CEO at any point.

Four words.
Barbed wire castration decapitation.
I've never played Manhunt 2 ... is it really that bad?
It's just your standard violent animations, there's no brutal gibbing or realistic bleeding.
I've never played Manhunt 2 ... is it really that bad?
Not really but I remember the Wii version causing a lot of controversy due to news outlets saying "omg your kids can literally beat people to death"
I don't really see any games on that AO list that you'd expect to see streamed on twitch anyway, with the exception of GTA: San Andreas, which seems to stick out like a sore thumb.
Porn Game
Porn Game
Softcore Porn Game
Porn Game

GTA: San Andreas

Sortcore Porn Game

...
Edit: Here's the actual list:
I love how I've been gone for months and people are still saying the same shit they said before I was banned. Never change Facepunch.
It's not like you can, anyway.
How hard is it to set a NSFW filter or something to allow this?
[editline]28th May 2015[/editline]
Like I get anime visual novels but games like Hatred?
Twitch has a NSFW option, it shows a little "this channel shows mature content do you want to view it?" sadly Twitch don't give a fuck about their mature option and instead treats everyone like a 12 year old.
Not really but I remember the Wii version causing a lot of controversy due to news outlets saying "omg your kids can literally beat people to death"
It's sad how a shitstorm that happened almost 10 years ago still affects a game today.
hitbox
Hitbox isn't really safe from my experience, I found an exploit in their chat that let you post under any username. I was posting under a popular streamer's account Keyori (with obvious messages concerning their security) for a good day and a half before they could identify the flaw (session tokens, which they fixed with same-IP restrictions), it was so fucking simple that it makes me concerned trusting data.
Four words.

Not any worse than Postal 2 to be honest. This whole thing is rather silly. Just add a mature content filter. If Newgrounds can do it then so can Twitch.
Why. Streamers can tag their stream to be 18+ already. So why
If Youtube does this (Yeah right) imagine what will happen. The gaming industry will do what the movie industry is doing. The biggest demographic for movies is reached if you keep the movie PG-13. So movies take huge cuts and shit to avoid an R Rating. Take the new Robocop movie for an example and compare it with the original.
How many people in the new Robocop movie did you ACTUALLY see get shot? It's all cuts to people flying back right after they get hit. Compare it to the original where you see the effect and blood splatter
what about games like witcher, has sex scenes and witcher 3 story lets you run in to topless people and prostitutes all the time, it tends to be at ~15k viewers every day
They allow them on the assumption you're not JUST streaming those parts and will try to spend as little time in them.
For example, it's ok to enter the strip club in GTA V to progress the story (namely in the final quarter of the game where [sp]Trevor takes over the joint[/sp]) or to regroup with friends, but not ok to be spending an obscene amount of time doing strip club activities (private dances, etc)
I've never played Manhunt 2 ... is it really that bad?
No, lol
Twitch are boring cunts, it would be great to have a streaming service with no rules.

If there's no rules, won't it end up being mostly porn?
This certainly isn't suspicious at all, coming into effect just days before Hatred releases. Nope, nothing suspicious at all!
This certainly isn't suspicious at all, coming into effect just days before Hatred releases. Nope, nothing suspicious at all!
Yes, it is nothing suspicious at all. Why does everything have to have some conspiracy behind it? A company that literally needs video games to exist to function isn't going to be anti-video game or whatever insane idea you've concocted in your mind.
If it was a response to Hatred, they would've done it when Hatred was announced and the controversy over it was in full gear, not a few days before release well after the drama has ended.
I've never played Manhunt 2 ... is it really that bad?
Depends on which version you play. I dunno what it's like for the other versions but the Wii version had so many shitty filters applied that you couldn't see fuck all.
Not that it mattered since it wasn't that bad to begin with.
If there's no rules, won't it end up being mostly porn?
Why does it matter, provided there's a way to flag a stream as being porn or whatever else?
If that's another user base twitch can make money from, all while not impacting anyone who doesn't want to see those sorts of things, why is it a big deal?
Looking at the edit they made, it seems that if it actually has an ao rating it is banned, otherwise it isn't.
Considering there are many adult games that are literally unrated it doesn't affect as much as it seems. Doesn't help when there are speed runs on twitch of these games(and they are actual games, not just game-like delivery mechanisms).

Good thing Nekopara is still allowed.
Oh, thank god. What would I do without my catgirl titties?
Do you know the youtube streaming policy on it? With the recent press on it, and this announcement, I can see that causing at least movement over.
It's the same as their videos, violence with context is fine, no nudity, no over gore or AO, even for "artistic" purposes.
So I see that a gambling game is designated AO. Does this mean there will be no more gambling/poker on Twitch as well? Would make sense since you technically have to be an adult to play online poker or gamble.
How hard is it to set a NSFW filter or something to allow this?
There already is, which is why I don't get this rule. Obviously extremes will never be allowed, but some AO games don't seem that bad
