I don't understand how people think our current piracy laws need to be tightened. All it would do is create another huge black market if torrents were removed from the internet. And as we can tell from alcohol cannabis prohibition, this is an incredibly BAD IDEA.

I don't think U.S. politicians considering compromise over this act realize just how much it will impact the public and how people will react to the passage of a bill that essentially destroys the concept of privacy.
