Their product line has never been appealing to me.

1. Back in the 00's I found iPods stupid (my opinion sorry) because you payed allot for a device that only plays back music, which I felt was not worth it, especially since I was a kid back then and the only music I'd ever know about or have access to would be mainstream stuff (Back Street Boys, Britney Spears :v:) Besides I'd rather have used up a birthday or Xmas buying a Gameboy over an iPod.

2. When the iPhone came out I was impressed, but could not afford it. Android came out and impressed me more, so I got one (recently). Also iTunes requirement=no.

3. I don't have a need for a laptop, would it be convenient every so often? Sure. But I am not gonna spend my money on one (I consider Macbooks by far the best laptops due to their portability, design, thinness, etc). I am considering that $200 Kindle Fire tablet though, but I really have no use for it nor can I think of one, so I'll probably pass.

4. I'd never use a prebuilt computer as my main desktop PC, I always have a nice gaming rig. I don't even bother with Linux or dual booting either, Windows 7 does everything I need it to do.

5. iPad...nope. The only thing I liked about my friends iPad 2 was Notetaker HD, since he no longer needed the archaic paper and pencil, and rarely used a binder.

6. AppleTV...I don't watch TV, I buy Blu-Rays for movies and the occasional TV series I like, my family doesn't give a shit about stuff like that anyways.

I think that covers all of their home consumer products.

About the only product I will buy from Apple is the iPod. And I do own one.

This is my current technology lineup:

iPod touch 4g for apps and music
Windows Phone for, y'know, a phone without bullshit
Motorola Xoom for, well, I don't have it yet but i'm sure it will replace my laptop for school.

I'm not going to spend $1200 on a laptop if it doesn't have an i7 and a GTX 580 with an SSD and other shit. Apple TV, well, what's wrong with normal TV or just watching TV on your PC? iPhone is the same as the iPod but with phone so save your money for a phone that brings more to the table. iPad is a larger iPod, it's not a staggering difference like Android phones to Android tablets.

Their desktops are absolute shit too. Anyone who cites software exclusivity as a reason to use Macs is an idiot because all Mac-only software suites have a Windows competitor that's just as good if not better.
