To me, arguing for monarchies, whether good or bad, is just plain dumb. You may as well argue for church and state to be melded, or for capital punishment to persist.
It's just plainly an archaic, needless form of government that is nothing but a nail holding the modern world in the past, stopping humanity as a whole in progressing forward.
