The goldfinger banana could be a way its very similar to the Gros Michel but is said to be more resistant, It does not oxidate so the banana does not become black over time. Apparently the main contender for replacing the Cavendish. This makes me sad and I feel like I should keep the last banana I have left in a bag some where in the basement so I can tell my grandchildren that there's an old moldy extinct banana in the basement.
