But why, why do you get to decide that they need special responsibilities? Shouldnt the business owner be able to decide how they want to do things and how they go about it if its not illegal? Why do they have to do anything for anyone wheres the paper they signed saying they must?(well money obviously but I mean more literal)
Oh and fuck you for

I think that people should be held to common standards of conduct(aka RULES, which EVERY HUMAN SOCIETY EVER HAS HAD), and you're equating that to me being a wannabe micromanaging tyrant.
Explain to me in simple terms why it's ok for a business owner to discriminate against normal, innocent people because of their race, sex, gender, or orientation.
Why is this ok, despite it being horrible and bigoted? Why do you think it's ok for a business owner to let white people in just fine, but scorn, distrust, and outright ban minorities from entering his store and giving him business?
I want you to give me a real reason, by the way. Not "Because it's their business! Free speech!!" bullshit.
But the real reason is the rights. He has the same rights as me. If your trying to ask about my personal feelings and morals on it then I would say its not right. Its fucking disgusting actually and it is racist and bigoted. I would never give the company business again. Discriminating anyone from your business without them doing a single thing is horrible and pretty ass backwards.
Do you want unequal laws and rights that change due to feelings?

My point with that line was what puts others above them. Not you hamaflavian specifically. Why do they have to do something for other people. Why are they more obligated just because they decide to sell something and you decide to buy it. Where is this entitlement coming from.

Why is adultery OK, despite it destroying families? When a marriage collapses because one party decided to partake in a thoughtless act of animalistic self-indulgence, not even stopping to think of the impact it may have on the children?
Clearly, if you don't want to criminalise adultery, you must enjoy the suffering of children.

Are you genuinely saying that having a strict "No discrimination, no buts" law is racist, bigoted, unequal, and changing rights due to "feelings"...?
Either your argument has entirely changed from "I think it's ok for bigots to ban minorities from shopping at their store" or you genuinely believe that making sure everyone has equal right to do business is unequal and changing our rights.

What do you mean put others above them? You mean given the power to tell other people what to do? Because in Australia, I'm pretty sure people get that power by being elected to the nation's Parliament. But that's just my guess. And holy shit I have explained five times why I think they are obligated to service people without discrimination. You're like a child who asks a question and just keeps asking "why" to every answer they get, except you're worse, because when a child does it, they're technically asking a different question each time, you're just asking the same one again and again.

There is a thick line between adultery destroying families/childrens lives and not being able to buy food because the only store in town decides not to serve your religion/race/orientation. There is a difference (that you are well aware of and simply ignoring to promote your point) between the links between fragmented families, adultery, divorce and wellbeing of children and not being able to eat because the one convenience store in town does not allow you in.
The point is these laws are there for a reason, in this particular incident it means very little but most of us in this thread are simply saying that this is not a good precedent (well not really a precedent, since horrible examples of the same thing happening in civilised countries are not even that old) and just because you own a private business does not mean that you are above laws.

Do you know about anti-discrimination laws? like you do know those are a thing, right? Specifically to combat people like you who think racism is acceptable.
What a silly person I am, making up bullshit like "people should be treated equally" and "other races are no worse then whites".
