Why the fuck would they upload it to the internet, holy fuck. I mean just doing that to the cat is horrible but add in "HURRR let's upload it to the internet!, we won't get in trouble or get caught" These are people are not only asswipes but they're beyond fucking stupid. I once turned on my dryer only to hear something thump around in there, something heavier then normal. I turned it off and opened the door, and out came my cat, a little perturbed but uninjured And I felt HORRIBLE for accidentally doing that to my cat. I cannot believe someone would WILLING do this to a defenseless, innocent animal and LAUGH about it. Fucking scum.

They're just as capable of doing it if not more so. Also in this case there's no sensible reason for abuse, so whether it's a human or animal being abused, there's no way to understand why they're doing it. Either way, how does the fact that one can understand the motives behind abuse makes it more acceptable in your eyes?

They can scratch, but it's not gonna do a lot, much less then a human can do, having a far greater size/strength advantage. A cat wouldn't even think to defend itself, unless it was abused regularly. Attacking/abusing/torturing something with a much lower mental/physical capacity is far more petty and cowardly. I'm not saying one is worse then the other crime-wise, just voicing my opinions on this matter.

I remember reading that children who abuse animals have a higher chance of growing up into criminals. I'd also guess they are more likely to have suffered from abuse at home/school themselves.

I mean, if we follow your logic strictly, then swatting flies is far worse than abusing a cat. The feeling of disgust we have towards those acts is more linked to our ability to be empathetic towards beings which resembles us (E.G. mammals) than that of judging the fairness of one's actions.

I said he carried out abuse, as a twisted method of punishment. Not as a way to vent insecurities. I think when people dish out their own form of justice, they can be abusive in the process.
