Presumably, this cat that is being torture is their pet. It would explicitly depend and trust it's owners. Kind of like how my cat will come up to me and brush her body on my leg for affection and depend on me to pour food into her bowl.

I find it weird that almost every video which gets viral is from Russia. Poor kitty, I hope they find those idiots.
