PETA Attacks Nintendo For Pokemon Black 2/White 2, Says It Promotes Animal Abuse

Wow.....I said to myself this was going to happen when I was picking up my copy of white 2 the other day. Glad to see I wasn't disappointed.
I now predict I'll win the lottery. :v:
I don't really care what PETA does anymore. Its common knowledge that they are, infact, retarded.
Why would they support Team Plasma? [sp]Their Pokemon liberation campaign was a ruse so they could easily over power the citizens and take over the region. [/sp]
They reference that when you fight Ghetsis in their shitty flash game thing.
PETA didn't just figure out about pokemon, it's just taken them 15 years and they still can't beat the game.
Hm, their plan did not work out, I actually want to play some Pokemon after playing their game.
PETA must love Tokyo Jungle
Isn't this the same organization that takes in thousands of animals every year but only has two or so adopted because the rest are "unadoptable"?
Sorry if the question is stupid but are they even allowed to use the names and designs of pokemon? Is it allowed because its a parody?
Sorry if the question is stupid but are they even allowed to use the names and designs of pokemon? Is it allowed because its a parody?
It's a non-profit parody, that makes it ok.
I think.
PETA must love Tokyo Jungle
People aren't being cruel to animals in that game, so it's A-OK!
Team Plasma publishes press release, "At least we're not as stupid as PETA."
Hey PETA, remember when you weren't an attention whore and you were true to your "ideals"?
Yeah, me neither.
Oh wow, for a second I thought they actually were true to themselves once in their life.
PETA is late by... How many years? 15?
This must be the month of the stupid...
Fox doing a show about BF: Bad Company, some muslim idiot complaining about bullshit found "under a magnifying glass" in a picture frame in MW2 which is a game where you kill a bunch of terrorists and bla bla bla, and now PETA complaining about Pokemon.
Glad to see everyone's putting in first place the most important things, huh guys?....
Sorry if the question is stupid but are they even allowed to use the names and designs of pokemon? Is it allowed because its a parody?
Yeah you answered your own question
I treat all PETA news like they came from The Onion
To be honest, considering most of pokemon seem to be sentient, including ghosts of people pekomon doesn't support and condone animal abuse.
What it supports and condones instead is slavery. :P
Hey guys pay attention to us we're still around and we're still fighting for animal rights also donate pls
Oh fuck off peta....Are you going to sue Angry Birds' devs for animal abuse t-.......oh wait, you already did.

Fun fact: Ash has never, not even once, put Pikachu back in his Pokeball in 700+ episodes, 15 movies, and 50 or so specials.
That’s around 15 years. 5 regions, the Orange Islands, and the Battle Frontier. 44 or so gyms, 5 Pokemon League Tournaments. Not even once.
Fun fact: Ash has asked Pikachu countless times if he wanted battle or not.
Fun fact: Ash has stated on numerous occasions that Pokemon are friends, not tools.

I love how much they miss the point :v:
Pokemon teaches kids love and tolerance
I love how much they miss the point :v:
Did PETA ever have a legitimate point?
Why would they support Team Plasma? [sp]Their Pokemon liberation campaign was a ruse so they could easily over power the citizens and take over the region. [/sp]
Well PETA is kind of a ruse to, most of the few animals they actually "free" they just euthanize.
They did cooking mama too:

This probably warrants a lawsuit or two.
Did PETA ever have a legitimate point?
No, not really, but I believe he was referring to the point of Pokemon.
I'm surprised noone's posted the infographic thing, I thought it was mandatory for every PETA thread?

Low quality alert!
I still teared up despite myself, but I remember my disappointment at age 12 or 13 when he came back to life. I think (and thought then) it would have made the ending so much more poignant had Ash simply died for the cause, and if the others had to survive him. The movie had an a well-placed message against meaningless ideological warfare and the collateral damage caused by it, yet I felt it was deeply undermined by the need to give the American audience a feel-good ending rather than a realistic one (or more likely I was reading a bit too much adult fiction at the time, and was far ahead of my years in expectations than what they could realistically deliver in a children's movie).
Yeah killing thousands of animals isn't animal abuse either
I really must be the only one in the world who approves of this euthanasia of animals.
They are more and more making a fool out of themselves. If I were them, I'd hide in shame and never show my face again.
