Do you want www.dor.iol ?
No, but someone else might.
Nothing is wrong with .com
The problem is they are all taken. I tried to get child.com taken I tried to get child.net taken But child.porn was free
Web addresses are stupid. http://<INSERTNAMEHERE>.com.<INSERTCOUNTRYCODE> So Facepunch would be http://Facepunch.com.UK Google would be http://Google.Com.US Simple and easy, not this stupid thing.
You're just jealous we got acceptance that we don't need a country code while you got .co.uk
No, but someone else might.
Do you want fur.fag, then? BECAUSE YOU ARE ONE :v:
I'm kinda worried actually, more disguises for nimp like websites. Some could be fucked.
You're just jealous we got acceptance that we don't need a country code while you got .co.uk
How about you stop being an elitest american dick head? :smug:
No, people, you don't get it! We already can have domain names like .omgdude .moscow What will change is that there will be domains like .москва and .народ,that's what "cyrillic" means.
Can't wait to not be able to remember all the new domain names!
Hahaha you're so funny! /sarcasm
"Garrysmod.com doesn't deserve me!"
.com FTW, always.
.com FTW, always.
Then you clearly don't understand what the new domains are for.
Then you clearly don't understand what the new domains are for.
Looks like to me it just gives domain registers a better choice in picking a domain with a cool extension. Yes I did read the OP.
Looks like to me it just gives domain registers a better choice in picking a domain with a cool extension. Yes I did read the OP.
No. People can already do that. The whole purpose of the new domains is support for Chinese, Cyrillic, etc. characters.
The whole purpose of the new domains is support for Chinese, Cyrillic, etc. characters.
Oh... Languages that are not used by The World.
Oh... Languages that are not used by The World.
..Yes, because everyone speaks English.
English isn't even my first language, but I still want English to be the "official Internet language". Makes things easier and everyone can type in every URL without copy-pasting. Using another set of letters other than Latin will just limit the amount of potential visitors. More top-level domains would be cool though.
Why? Eplain what is wrong with .com, please. I don't see any problems.
All 3,4 letter .coms are gone, pretty much, most 5 letter .coms are gone, there's hardly any decent domains left.
All 3,4 letter .coms are gone, pretty much, most 5 letter .coms are gone, there's hardly any decent domains left.
That is why you get creative.
That is why you get creative.
no
face.punch :raise:
Oh fuck more phishings are going to fall www.steam.powered.com
Oh fuck more phishings are going to fall www.steam.powered.com
People could do that before this.
I wonder how much these are going to cost.
Well, it's not big news for YOU garry, but I am pretty sure that people who USE those fonts in their life will be pretty happy. Also the new IPv6 is awesome.
Garry use coolvetica !
All the good domains are gone on the popular domains. There needs to be more popular ones, even if they're ones that are already in use just uncommon. Popular like .com, .net (.org I guess) and .co.uk. Honestly if a website is not one of these I don't remember it, and that's probably because I don't know any website that isn't. Sure you can "be creative" and do stupid long urls, but often you want them to sum up exactly what the website is, not some useless phrase, and it can be hard now.
