Stage two started up again successfully. Looking like we will have a complete success so far.

Separation confirmed! Should be a complete success then pending AOS from the satellite.
I think this also makes the landing success rate 50%.
Failed: CRS-5, CRS-6, Jason-3, SES-9.
Succeeded: OC-2, CRS-8, JC-SAT14, THAICOM-8.

Hope not!
Science.... FUCK YEAHHHHHHHHHH
Watching these launches from SpaceX truly has me hopeful for the future of rocketry and space exploration

I'm surprised they haven't figured out a mechanism to lock the thing down yet
One of my mates sent me this on Teamspeak:

She should be coming into port soon:

Core 25 dealing another crushing blow to flat earth by appearing to come out of the sea as it comes over the horizon.

stop with your propaganda

I just realized that guy scrubbed all the snarky comments from his video
Ironic that a guy who thinks hes telling the truth finds free speech inconvenient
I feel like it's so over the top stupid that it has to be satire.
Looks like they might be starting to move again. Was delayed by HMS Vengeance entering port.
Well right now they are just going around in circles. But here's a video of it:

i said it in the last thread, but i still wonder if elon musk ever thought he would have a problem with being too successful. like they don't have that much room at their facilities, and until they get clearance to start launching these things over again, they're going to be piling up

OG-2 one is going on display at the office in Hawthorne. CRS-8 will be the one that reflys probably, JCSat is probably going to go through destructive testing at MacGregor. Wonder what they will do with this one. I guess they'll end up shipping the spare ones off to McGregor until it's time to refly them. If they havent shipped off any yet though it could be problematic. The core for the next launch already arrived at Cape, so they might be out of space. I think they said the hangar could only hold four.

i still imagine him driving out to the hangar at night, turning on the lights and counting the growing pile of rockets then scratching his head saying to himself "well what do i do now?"
[editline]2nd June 2016[/editline]
his secret plan all along was to have a pile of rockets, and get someone else to pay for them, now they're his and they're all paid for
He's going to pile them up until hes ready to unveil his real master plan, his nuclear weapon arsenal. Then Bond Villain Musk shows his true face.
She's almost here...

Is it just the camera angle or is it leaning quite hard to one side? I wonder if that will be a problem.
It's definitely leaning.
Yep:

Look at the base and you can see a person to get an idea of scale.
OCISLY has docked now.

I think we should call this Falcon 9 booster "Only Slightly Bent"

Look how much it has shifted?!
I can't get over how big it is, I wasn't expecting it to be so huge.

It's almost as tall as the cruise ship!

Makes you appreciate the videos of it landing more when you realize the shear scale of whats going on. It's like landing a building from space.
Speaking of which:

It definitely slid to the side somehow.

That is so mind-blowing that you got a fucking rocket falling from space to land on a floating square of 250'x180' in the middle of the ocean. Literally landing a perfect bullseye.
Wonder if they can fill the base of the rocket with some sort of ballast to increase stability once on the pad

The CoM is already between the legs at that point. uS rockets tend to run fuel rich and the liquid fuel is in the lower tank, plus you have the ballast of 6-8 unused engines on landing
