The irrationality in this thread is overwhelming.

All I know is that noone cares if clementine dies. I mean, even vegans kill and eat clementines. It's like, on the bottom of everyone's care list. Edit: I triple-checked on google. My knowledge is maximum.

I don't know how I feel about this. I feel bad about the cat because it was left there to suffer, only to die a while after rescue in pain. Yet I feel sad about the kid who was crushed to death by a tombstone. I guess the difference between them both was the amount of suffering. The kid, as fucked up as this sounds, was most likely killed instantly. I know it sounds kind of fucked, but if you think about it, he probably didn't even hear the thing fall before he was gone. The cat was left in hardening cement within a pipe for hours upon hours, suffering and suffering until its demise. My heart goes out to the cat, but my brain goes out to the kid. I feel so upset that a little defenseless animal was put through so much pain, yet I think about how the kid's family and friends must feel, losing a young child. It's an unusual subject; I still don't know how I feel about this.

We don't know it was a few people that were part of a backwards branch of Mormonism that caused it, the owner just [I]assumed[/I] that it was because of events of YEARS ago. I'd be more willing to put money on some idiotic kids. Replace Mormons with Christians or Atheists, and you'll see why this kind of thinking is backwards as hell. I'm not Mormon, and in fact hate the teachings, but that doesn't mean people should just categorize people based on how they were raised or taught.

He wasn't fortunate enough to die instantly and was probably in agonizing pain if he was still conscious.
