If they try to pass it now, they can challenge the law in court and it would get struck down. They can't just make up random fucking rules.

The rules for filibusters are so stupid. Why should the passage of any law have anything to do with the strength of a congressman or woman who opposes it? Whether I agree with it or not, it should either not be legal to filibuster, or they should remove the rules about leaning against something for support.
