plastic money is :krad2:
plastic money is :krad2:
My friend and I talked about it, and I came to the conclusion that paper money sucks in comparison. It's brittle, can tear, destroyed in water, and is easier to copy.
Looks like a gay pride flag

Well, in the UK several times i've had my money go through the wash, and come out looking even cleaner than it went in. The notes hold together fine.
The only brittle notes I've found are the really old ones, and you can change them for new ones at the bank.
the big 100 on the back looks dumb
so does that big blue line
It has RFID chips and will track us everywhere we go with satellites omg obama is a socialist antichirst.

ffs, where is canada option...
And they made fun of Canadian money...
great now i can't print it
I don't exactly get the poll, do I think what was a good idea? That they made a new hundred to slow down counterfeiting? Sure I guess it was a good idea, but how would it be a bad idea? Maybe to a counterfeiter? Why am I ended everything with a question?
We're broke as hell, have a war going on, health care needs to be taken care of, Hati still needs help, and we're busy designating $100 bills?
New $100 guys!

I said compared to the 'plastic' notes. I didn't say they were completely bad, but they aren't that great in comparison.
The plastic ones aren't so great as the plastic is made from oil, which we should probably work harder to become less dependent on
Whoa the U.S. has the best looking moneys
Canada has the best looking money.

plastic can be really easy to recycle if you use the right inks
Changing to plastic would fuck up every vending system that takes bills and be expensive as fuck to refit all of them.
Wont counterfeiters just keep making the old $100 bills since they'll still be in circulation? By the time those are out of circulation they will already have found out the tricks of the new bill?
Looks like some kid had a field day with it in photoshop.
We need colorful money like other countries, and the edges should glow in the dark.
Why not make them plastic?
I like the new bill.
I don't see any problem with it, but like another user said, I am Canadian so I might be a bit biased.
Fuck as long as Benjamin Franklin's pictures is made even bigger, I'm all for it.
Looks so stupid... Why did it have to change, it was still damn hard to counterfeit and I doubt this made it measurably harder.

Just because the house down the road is burning down doesn't mean you can't stop your kid from writing on the wall.

Let's hope Canada does this when they bring in polymer currency
I think it is a much better idea. When I went over to America, all the notes are the same size and colour. The americans looked at the Australian money and they were like "Oh My God, That is so cool. They are plastic and they are colourful and yea"
I really like the new look, that blue line looks like the printer broke part way through, then they fixed it. Nice regardless.
