Too bad it's not available in the US.
Too bad it's not available in the US.
Holy shit that's a new one. It's usually the other way around, US only.
Their website says it's coming to the US soon though.
click and buy is not safe though
Proof please. I've used ClickandBuy for months and never had a problem. Until my debit card expired and I forgot my password to the site.
Basically, you walk into a store that sells paysafecards, buy it, and then you can use it to buy stuff online. It's great because you can get Steam games with pocket change. And now kids can take money from their parents to buy garrysmod secretly! I hope this spreads to U.S. soon.
Steam never accepts my Visa or Amex gift cards :saddowns:.
I just use iDeal now, and transfer the money right from my bank account :3:
I just use iDeal now, and transfer the money right from my bank account :3:
Why don't you use PayPal for that?
Not very useful for me, I can already use my bank visa to buy games online.
I suppose its useful for people who don't have a credit card
Why is it not in America if valve is American? Besides, I feel compensation. I bought the valve pack. got nothing free and special/unexpected. :colbert: and some terrible card with a generic name no ones heard of that's not avaliable where Gabe lives, is getting free junk?
Nearest shop where i can get a card is 50 km from here...FFFff-
They made Portal free a while back for like a week. Good thing I took advantage of that :-)

Theres promotions like this all the time and portal was free for a while too, nothing to complain about really.
Paypal needs to have some sort of option for little kids where they can mail cash to the HQ and have it added to their accounts. I can still remember, when I was around 6 or so, I found an ad for a $5 knife in the back of popular mechanics. So what did I do? I stuffed $5 of change (which I stole from my dads change drawer) into an envelope. Needless to say, the USPS returned the envelope (seeing as I only put one stamp on a 5lb envelope), and I got the belt that night.
Why don't you use PayPal for that?
It takes a week or so to get your money from your bank account to paypal (for me it takes almost always 7 days), with iDeal, the money goes directly from your bank account to steam with an upto 1 hour (usually, but for me it's almost instant) delay. The only tiny problem is that sometimes you have to pay an extra euro because you use iDeal, though some online shops will pay it for you, but most require an extra euro. I use a payunsafecard because I like to live dangerously.
I use a payunsafecard because I like to live dangerously.
oh god you're so funny
paysafecard sounds like something you'd buy from your Nigerian uncle.
dude, it is paypal, but worse, cuz no one takes it and you cant use it on atms.
Why don't you use PayPal for that?
Because it takes up to a week to transfer the money to paypal, iDeal is instant purchase.
Steam accepts the "prezzie cards" which I can get from post offices.
Tbh, the point of this offer is? There was a like a Portal holocaust sale back along time ago and then pretty much everyone had it.
There was a like a Portal holocaust sale back along time ago and then pretty much everyone had it.
That doesn't mean that everyone had it.
Hey Valve, I've been giving you money using Visa for years now where's my free shit
this
That doesn't mean that everyone had it.
3/4 of the Steam community probably has Portal, as of now.
I don't have Portal yet ;P But Steam accepting psc is nice since I use it for almost everywhere else, too (no credit card :-/ )
Too bad it's not available in the US.
Visa Gift Cards. I bought a $50 and used it for Global Agenda, Puzzle Agent, and the Monkey Island Special Editions. They're really nice if you have a debit card, but it's under your parents' control and won't deposit your money for you.
