Only in the sense that the DPRK is the continued existence of the korean peoples republic, which was the legitimate successor to colonial korea. The only reason it doesn't exist today is because of a forced and arbitrary dismantlement in the south by the US. It wasn't what the koreans wanted, and the end result was that half of the country became a colonial dictatorship again.

Let me correct you, the French combined forces with the good leadership to the revolution to take on and beat Britain's presence in America.
Don't get me wrong, the rebels did well. But if they had attempted to invade Britain itself, France would have backed out deciding it was way too risky and the rebels would have been crushed.
"My bad LOL"

By that logic, the US should apologise for Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Don't expect them to though, because it wasn't their generation.

Don't forget that Spain and the Dutch also declared war against England in the later years!
