In that case its just a bluff.
See, NK isn't all that bad. They even asked politely.

Foreigners aren't their main target, it's the US and SK
[QUOTE=fruxodaily;40216807]Foreigners aren't their main target, it's the US and SK[/QUOTE]
So foreigners are their main targets?
[QUOTE=Coffee;40217193]So foreigners are their main targets?[/QUOTE]
Not saying they wouldn't hurt them or kill them, they're simply warning them before things go shitty

Oh yes the *nuclear* war that north korea has foretold for quite a few weeks now.
I highly doubt that anything will happen.

... You're saying the US and SK aren't foreigners...

well depending on NK's hardware they might not even have proper nukes, just very very big bombs, like the one they tested one or two months back that was basically a huge stack of dynamite.
[QUOTE=777ecnatsiser;40216678]FYI South Koreans don't really care about North Korea at this point. It's only CNN or other foreign media outlets that are panicing[/QUOTE]
I don't get why you're getting dumbs for this. People in South Korea aren't all that concerned about North Korea.
I for one are thrilled that my father works at an underground base, im safe from all the ghouls and super-mutants that might be roaming around the day after.
[QUOTE=Riller;40216666]Well, actually, tomorrow is their deadline for evacuating diplomats before they said they couldn't ensure safety. Six days from now is Ol' man Sung's birthday, so hey, they might celebrate it with some fireworks, given the previous reports of preparations for nuclear tests.[/QUOTE]
I bet they'll launch a surprise attack tomorrow.

And you speak on behalf of the entire South Korean population, I assume?
[QUOTE=ultra_bright;40217650]I bet they'll launch a surprise attack tomorrow.[/QUOTE]
Won't be a surprise since they announced it.
[QUOTE=Riller;40217695]Won't be a surprise since they announced it.[/QUOTE]
So far they just said shit might be going down after the 10th.
There's no way they would wait more than a week after that point to attack.
my friend just came back from teaching english in SK

Well, guess we'll see within the next 48-72 hours to see if something's going to happen. It's already almost the 10th over there, and I don't anticipate that they're going to wait if they actually plan to take action.

[B][I][U]If[/U][/I][/B], and that's "[B][I][U]if[/U][/I][/B]" with both [B], [U] and [I] tags, they decide to do much of anything, most likely a missile- or "nuclear" test, it's gonna happen the 15th, as usual. Celebrating Ol' Sung's birthday.
Sort of feel sorry for NK, must be hard living under a rock and being behind in technology
I don't care about that. I'm going to die when they're starting fire in SK because I'm living in the seoul right now.
[QUOTE=rebel1324;40217861]I don't care about that. I'm going to die when they're starting fire in SK because I'm living in the seoul right now.[/QUOTE]Are you living in the northern outskirts of Seoul? If not, you're fine.
[QUOTE=King of Limbs;40216093]The UN has gone to war for less... If anything cant we at least help the OPPRESSED and STARVING citizens of NK... this is just gone on long enough. This needs to end soon because its become a problem. Maybe im leaning a bit to far for foreign intervention, but something has to be done. For literally the worlds sake let alone the main enemies of NK. I mean think about the people of NK that have been robbed of proper education and freedom. Human beings that have been falsely led to believe in the wanderlust dreams of idealistic socialist futures... Its just unnerving that we cant muster up the courage to help those people in need and stabilize a volatile region.
Just my thoughts on this whole thing.[/QUOTE]
North Korea would financially cripple any nation that occupied it after a war, especially South Korea.
[QUOTE=rebel1324;40217861]I don't care about that. I'm going to die when they're starting fire in SK because I'm living in the seoul right now.[/QUOTE]
If I were you, and I had an alternate place to go, I would leave. Regardless of whether the whole thing is just a stupid bluff, I would not risk my life staying there during this. Maybe I'm just paranoid but I wouldn't take a chance with all that artillery pointed at me all day.
The real problem with a war with North Korea is we'll have to feed them after we destroy their military and government in 7 days. Suddenly having to feed 25 million people is going to drain some bank accounts
The war itself isn't going to cost shit, relatively speaking. Unless North Korea manages to get a nuke off in Seoul or something, but they're so small that property damage will still be less than some hurricanes
[QUOTE=SnakeHead;40216135]The only problem is that those who we are meant to help will be the ones fighting us. I'm convinced that most every citizen, even down to the poor and starving farmer, has been so brainwashed that they'd probably attempt to fight us with whatever weapons they can muster up.[/QUOTE]Easy solution to that, ham sandwich carpet bombing.

North Korea's mustard gas is more scary than their nukes, to be honest.
[QUOTE=Derp Y. Mail;40217668]And you speak on behalf of the entire South Korean population, I assume?[/QUOTE]
My brother has been talking with some South Koreans and they really don't care about what North Korea is doing. It's just daily routine for them.
[QUOTE=Emperor Scorpious II;40218619]North Korea's mustard gas is more scary than their nukes, to be honest.[/QUOTE]I wasn't even aware they had any.
I guess that's what i get for always thinking of nuclear means when it comes to NK.
[QUOTE=rebel1324;40217861]I don't care about that. I'm going to die when they're starting fire in SK because I'm living in the seoul right now.[/QUOTE]
What's it like there?

They have chemical weapons worse than mustard gas.
