The tree in my NJ family's yard which has been there ever since I can remember was torn down. We caught some of it down in VA and we had several trees downed in my park last night. It was quite a storm.

Unrelated, but talking about the yellow sky sometimes before a storm our skies will turn bloodred. I'm in Louisiana, but I blame Bobby Jindal's satanic sacrifices.

Just got power back yesterday morning, but there's about to be more strong storms in Philadelphia/South Jersey, I dont think they're supposed to be as strong as the last one was so here's hoping power doesn't go out again.

There's a government inquiry into Atlantic City Electric to see what's taking so long.

The company said that there's more outages than from Hurricane Sandy but still, this is rather ridiculous. How much money has been lost by consumers due to this outage? How much food gone bad?

if the storm was bad enough then FEMA will come in and give you a trailer for a while but for the most part you're boned without homeowners insurance
