Was there ever an official explanation for the weird pink/ orange hue in the sky?
Went to a shit load of calls back to back during it, lol it was intense for about a half hour. as soon as it ended, boom wires after wires

The tree in my NJ family's yard which has been there ever since I can remember was torn down. We caught some of it down in VA and we had several trees downed in my park last night. It was quite a storm.
"The Storm of the Century" if you will?
a bit premature for that
"The Storm of the Century" if you will?
my grandparents were left homeless by Katrina and a lot of people I knew were killed but yeah a couple power outages are pretty terrible
Unrelated, but talking about the yellow sky sometimes before a storm our skies will turn bloodred. I'm in Louisiana, but I blame Bobby Jindal's satanic sacrifices. Related, I heard about this storm through a friend. Missed him afaik but his power was still cut. Very bizarre but bad storm.
MN got hammered by this system last weekend. Was quite the light show but the winds were not that bad, that's some shit
I wouldn't doubt there were strong winds in Deptford, this car got flipped over during the storm somehow
Damn, imagine being the guy who had their car totaled next to the car who got broken windows. That's so unlucky.
Finally got power. Jesus fuck.
Still none
Just got power back yesterday morning, but there's about to be more strong storms in Philadelphia/South Jersey, I dont think they're supposed to be as strong as the last one was so here's hoping power doesn't go out again.
News said some residence won't have power until Sunday. There's a government inquiry into Atlantic City Electric to see what's taking so long. The company said that there's more outages than from Hurricane Sandy but still, this is rather ridiculous. How much money has been lost by consumers due to this outage? How much food gone bad?
What would happen in America if a storm tore your house apart or caused tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars of damage? Does the state pay the repairs for you? Or are you fucked unless you have insurance?

Power blinked tonight for some reason. Odd.
