In reality, the good guys always die. :saddowns:
It's a tragic story, and I hope the stupid drugged-up bastards go to prison for a long, long time.
:'c
fucking drugs again! what is wrong with people?
That is a true example of how fathers should be. I really feel sad for the man, the fact that he sacrificed his own life because of such a dumbfuck.
Rest In Peace.

A Chevy Blazer, with four occupants, crossed the centre line when the driver tried to take her sweater off while driving, asking the other front passenger to take the wheel at the time.
Holy fucking shit what the fuck.
Fucking asshole of a person. Who the fuck does that while driving. Because this fucking asshole pulled over, what would seem to be the perfect dad is now dead.
I'm just stating the obvious.
Why, when someone does something "stupid", like, strafe down the rail of a stairs in a skateboard, and gets smacked on the balls as he lands, we call as social darwinism at work, if that action of his repeated enough would result in his death and subsequent inability to produce offspring, while this man, by "saving" the lives of some other, manages to negate his chances of producing even more offspring?
You are the trolls.
Social Darwinism is the forced death(or unwillingness of the public to help) of those who are classified as genetically inferior. Evolution happens one way or another even without the acceptance of Social Darwinism.
If you support it in anyway, you are an idiot. Humanity has more to provide then genetic information. Although we are still bound by these natural laws, we can surpass what they mean by providing more then just another human.
What this man did was a great thing. I know that this kid now has more hardships ahead of him (or her [don't know the gender]) then would be if his father lived, but in the end, that kid can now live on and hopefully have his own kids. An entire new line of people can live on because of one sacrifice.
This was the CoH designer guy?
He truly was awesome. :golfclap:
I don't expect others to sacrifice themselves for me.
Since you sound like a fucking asshole, I don't think anybody would actually waste their life to save you.
It wasn't in any way Darwinist. He saved his offspring.

So you're supporting an idea created by a mass murdering fascist dictator?
That guy is a badass.

I don't expect others to sacrifice themselves for me.
though, you might think it's an easy thing for me to say, at my age, and position in life.
but I would accept if someone wouldn't. they aren't obligated to.
That's because no one in their right mind would sacrifice themselves for you, you're a leech who only does what benefits you.
So you're supporting an idea created by a mass murdering fascist dictator?
Hitler did not come up with the idea. He was just the first to actually act upon it.
He is stupid.

Social Darwinism at work.
You are an idiot. In fact what he did was to save his offspring so it is no where near Social Darwinism. He had already reproduced, and now gave his life to protect his offspring, even if he died, his genes would be passed on.
And now, sorry to have seemed so heartless. That man is a role model. His selfless act is quite inspiring. I am only glad that his sacrifice was not in vain.
Oh, this is the Company of Heroes developer from that other thread. :frown:
Kind of stupid, there was probably a good number of other ways to get out of that kind of perdicament. Plus how did they know he "took the blunt of the crash". Maybe it was a coincidence.

Duuh maybe because that part of the car was completely crushed and the other half wasn't.

He has already reproduced, something you will hopefully never do.
Now, if only there were more guys like that.
