Installed iOS7 developer beta, it's actually really good.
Honestly, I was not looking forward to a new design, but that opinion has certainly changed.

I got the chance to see it today, one of my friend got his udid activated. It's way more subtle and cooler than I thought it be.
Parts of it look almost identical to windows phone 8

I just installed the iOS7 beta using my developer account and I absolutely love it. All the colors are right, except the safari and music logo, which I think could be improved upon.

I think if the colours had more contrast it'd look better, right now it looks really washed out, and that stupid parallax thing has been on phones since like 2008 these guys just love to play catch up
Personally I kind of like the brushed glass popup menus, it's got that nice clean apple style
I like how their multitasking interface is just Auxo but full screen. Even the method by which you kill apps is so similar as to be identical.

Having used iOS 7 for a couple days it's actually kind of growing on me.
The text and fonts are pretty slick.
Apparently Ive outsourced the icon design to some of Apple's marketing team, and the design is expected to heavily change throughout the next few betas, since there's like 5 more to come.
Made me happy. Fix it up and I'm sold.

I hope it looks less like Android and more like iOS without gloss. That one was my favorite mockup.

You bought a device that was created in 2010. It isn't getting iOS 7 because it has 256MB of RAM. Apple specifically retired the 4th gen for the new 16GB 5th gen because any product they sell, they update.

The biggest similarity there is the clock, and Roboto is a ripoff of Helevetica which Apple has been using for decades. The second one is the background which I won't argue with, it's very similar and definitely inspired by the phase beam wallpaper on Android.

Goddamn, this beta is terrible. I know it's a beta and all, but I can list many glitches and how to do them off the top of my head. It's also slow, being on an iPod Touch 5th gen. I can only imagine it on the iPhone 4.

I was originally worried that the design would be close to final, but it seems that Apple's taken a less stubborn direction. Jony Ive has said that a [I]lot[/I] will be changing. I'm far less worried about how the design will look - Apple is perfectionist and they'll definitely nail it over the next four betas.

It looks like a kitsch just like Symbian Belle did and I think I've seen this vomiting interface way too much on an old Nokia phone to ever care to see it returning on the iphone.

Nokia experimented with such an interface as early as 2010 and they've long abandoned it and went for their windows tile interface now.
