Wouldn't that define every politician??
Trudeau can be a shithead but compared to Trump he's practically Alexander II of Russia
What if I told you he was the most corrupt, most immoral politician out there?
You'd be wrong lol. Trump sucks but there are FARRR worse people in the world for sure
China hits India, Pakistan will join in, then China leaves and you've got two heated countries going at each other. This is absolutely fucking horrid
Chin won't hit because doing so makes them lose on a diplomatic front (seen as the aggressor) and on an economic front (firing up a war machine puts a huge dent in the economy - when you're a manufacturer for a lot of the world's products, that can have catastrophic consequences). All bark, no bite as another person here put it. Bhutan is being pushed around like a pawn by China, who says that India is strong-arming it when Bhutan actually asked them to step in. Beyond that, just sabre-rattling for the sake of not losing face but nothing's going to actually happen. China's building infrastructure close to the border has been of major concern to the Indian armed forces for a while, because in the event of an actual war, the Chinese would be able to mobilize much, much quicker than the Indian side would, mostly on account of the government sitting on its hands when it comes to developing infrastructure in the North Eastern region because there isn't anything in it for them.
I dunno, we did pretty well under Obama.
Not really. Sobotnik is absolutely correct.
Not really. Sobotnik is absolutely correct.
Uh...i think we've been doing ok.
I dunno, we did pretty well under Obama.
so why did america elect a right-wing populist candidate whose entire platform is based on the idea of america being in a perceptible decline the economy, society, the strength of america overseas, the confidence the nation has in itself, its sense of identity, etc are not exactly strong
so why did america elect a right-wing populist candidate whose entire platform is based on the idea of america being in a perceptible decline the economy, society, the strength of america overseas, the confidence the nation has in itself, its sense of identity, etc are not exactly strong
America didn't. The college did. The DNC sabotaged the election all by themselves. So now we get to reap what they sewed because they thought that they had it in the bag since primaries with their very own Clinton. They were wrong, twice, and this is the result.
so why did america elect a right-wing populist candidate whose entire platform is based on the idea of america being in a perceptible decline the economy, society, the strength of america overseas, the confidence the nation has in itself, its sense of identity, etc are not exactly strong
The American economy is the most productive and the American military is by far the largest and most modern in the world so I can't possibly see how you can say neither are strong. Trump was elected because perceptions don't match reality, and the nature of democracy means that people who don't really understand how governments or economies work think that we can return to some mythical golden age in America's history that never existed if we can just stuff the free-trading globalist genie back in the bottle.
Nothing wrong with a friendly small-scale skirmish between nuclear powers!
Hey, that didn't stop the Chinese and Soviets at Zhenbao.
so why did america elect a right-wing populist candidate whose entire platform is based on the idea of america being in a perceptible decline
Only about 26% of the US actually voted for Trump. Then there's the amount of fearmongering and misinformation that was spread by the GOP and Fox "News" to a not at all critical voter base. Then there there's also the fact that the American system is so shite that even though though Clinton got more votes than Trump, she still lost.
