Modern warfare didn't really do any one idea differently but just put a lot of the together. There were games like it before it came out but non sold like modern warfare did and thats when developers decides to copy it.

The entire idea, 'but x took its ideas from y and z' doesn't mean it wasn't original. In fact it means the opposite because what is created is completely new using Y and Z.

I seriously hope Nintendo will implement Steam, but knowing Nintendo, I think they will go for EA because they have more influence, money and also publish games on the Nintendo consoles.

Consoles are just massively easy to use compared to computers. Parents like the fact that they don't have to bother with issues we find trivial. Doesn't apply to just parents either. They are practically equal, not to mention ps3 owners buy more games on average then xbox gamers.

In Japan for the most part, after the third year, they dropped the Wii and shoved it into a corner. That's what it comes down to.

As much as I agree with Valve's standpoint, I still think that one of the reasons this thread is seeing so much bias towards Valve is because it was posted on a forum based on a mod of a successful Valve title. If you were to make an identical OP on, say, a fan based Brink forum (ohgodIhopeitdoesn'texist), you'd probably see the same amount of bias.

Seeing how many outright stupid decisions Nintendo have made the last few years. I doubt they will make a good decision this time. Origin on Wii U is GOING to happen. Nintendo is retarded and I am very unhappy with my 3DS

Most of Nintendos rules were mainly to stop sexual content.
