Shouldn't the title of the movie be Monsters Inc. -1?
Shouldn't the title of the movie be Monsters Inc. -1?
No that's the spinoff set in a parallel world where humans go through doors to scare monsters
I don't care, it will be good as Pixar has never let me down excluding "Cars".
I honestly dont see what is so wrong with Cars
Eh, I usually don't care for prequel, mainly because the entire thing is just spent ending up where you started.
Sounds kind of cheesy. =/
So do all the descriptions of movies on Netflix.
It's Pixar, of course it will be good.
And even then Cars was still above Dreamwork's tier.
Ants, Shrek, Madagascar and Chicken Run were all good movies.
Why do a bunch of teenagers care about movies being made for 6 year olds?
Why don't you go take your herps and go derp somewhere else?
A prequel eh?.
Too many prequels these days..
Damn it I wanted a hot teenage boo.
Why do a bunch of teenagers care about movies being made for 6 year olds?
pixar is like boobs
meant for kids, enjoyed by adults
pixar is like boobs

More like kids enjoy it because it's entertaining, adults enjoy it because it's entertaining AND they get all the jokes hidden in there (including sexual innuendos)
Pixar knows what they're doing.
I've always wanted to know what happened before that, though.
Well there wasn't really anywhere they could go as far as sequels were concerned with the original Monsters, Inc. film. I guess a prequel is really the only thing they can do to make sure the film isn't too bad.
Although calling it Monsters, Inc. 2 wouldn't make much sense if it isn't actually set anywhere near Monsters, Inc.
Monsters Inc. -1
What the fuck Pixar? What's with all the sequels lately? Have they run out of ideas?
this sequel has been planned for over five years :ssh:
[editline]3rd January 2011[/editline]
I don't really care what it's about, I just want another one. The first one was great.
Looking forward to watching it.
I thought the original storyline for the sequel was a older Boo ending up in the monster world.
I don't care, it will be good as Pixar has never let me down excluding "Cars".
Yeah, Cars felt too much like a Dreamworks Animation cartoon.
Why do a bunch of teenagers care about movies being made for 6 year olds?
There is an enormous difference between being a movie for 6 year olds and being a movie for the entire family to enjoy.
Fucking cliffhanger at the end of the Incredibles that theyve made me wait more than a few years to see whats happen.
They made a shit game for the cliffhanger.
Anyways, it's pixar how can they screw up this one, I mean, it's not like I can imagine what the movie is about since it takes place in a university of fear.[sp]Hopefully they don't pull off some stupid cliche shit[/sp]
And Ratatouille, for me at least. Other people liked it though. I think the Toy Story sequels especially Toy Story 3, prove that pixar are more than capable of making sequels just as good as or even better than what they are following up - and managing to do what makes a sequel great; retaining enough of the original to link it, while standing up in its own right and not just being copypaste shit.
You know, for some reason I just couldn't get into Toy Story 3. It bored me...I might have to give it another try.
Why do a bunch of teenagers care about movies being made for 6 year olds?
Do yourself a favor and don't ever post in Pixar related threads again.
I loved Toy Story 3 so I am looking forward to this. As long as Pixar still have their spark nothing should go wrong.
Why do a bunch of teenagers care about movies being made for 6 year olds?
Fuck you.
I hope you die a painful death.
Do not want monsters inc 2.
What the fuck Pixar? What's with all the sequels lately? Have they run out of ideas?
Pixar has opened a second spot, Pixar Canada, which manages all the sequels to all their movie titles.
Basically they can pump out like 2 movies a year now if they wanted
Because pixar movies aren't made for 6 year olds, they're proper 'family entertainment' in that a whole family of all ages can watch and enjoy them, rather than what most family entertainment seems to be which is "brightly coloured shit that kids can watch and that won't offend over-sensitive adults, but won't entertain them either"
Monsters Inc. Brotherhood. :iiam:
One thing i never really thought about until lately.
Since children are no longer considered toxic, arent the hundreds, if not thousands, of CDA guys out of a job?
