Yes, but you have the problem that Kinky Frog is having if you install it on any drive without a windows 10 installation. Most people with an SSD have windows 10 installed there, because of the OS performance boost you get. Maybe I'm misunderstanding meppers here?
well its my word against his i suppose but i've installed it to a different hdd just fine
well its my word against his i suppose but i've installed it to a different hdd just fine
Won't download for me either on my hdd which is why I'm interpreting what Meppers said in the way that I am doing.
-SNIP late-
Piece of shit crashes on the loading screen for me.
I think the download is barring me out because of my 560 Ti. I seem to meet all the other requirements, but that button is still grey for me.
I spent 7 HOURS downloading this game just so it can tell me to go fuck my self:suicide: ya fuck you too microcock
I bought a 480GB SSD a few months back and already struggling for space. Ahh..
You can also take ownership of the WindowsApps folder :honk:
I never liked the way cars handle in Codemasters games, all their games look kinda weird to me tpp, Forza looks so gorgeous.
Its more colin mcrae rally than dirt 3 (which is a great thing if you like good rally sims) its one of the best rally sims in a LONG time
You can also take ownership of the WindowsApps folder :honk:
Does that stop it from updating if an update is pushed on on the Windows Store though?
thats a lot of ram required
Seems to use 6-7GB of RAM and a 960M can play it, it just has some minor stuttering at times.
To all the people trying to play but the download button is greyed out when you meet the specs try plugging in your Xbox controller, it won't let me play unless it's plugged in.
When do we get the full fledged Forza 6 experience? Forza is for me the best race sim out there [editline]9th May 2016[/editline] Windows Store says i need to upgrade to Windows 10 but i already got Windows 10 ??
why even release a game like this without wheel support?
why even release a game like this without wheel support?
Because its in beta?
The game doesn't recognise my Xbox One controller :speechless: You had one job Microsoft...
Good Graphics and nothing else, maybe I'm not much of a racing guy. Also low memory issues if you don't have more than 8gb ram and 2gb vram and the game will eventually complain so hard to you it will shit itself and instantly close but I can at least look at pretty rain for a whole 10-20 minutes. This new generation of games are a sore annoyance to me always requiring to upgrade. Maybe I don't want to and still want to look at pretty graphics? :v:

Runs and looks stunning in 4k.
Runs and looks stunning in 4k.
Yup. Dunno if it's the "DX12 secret sauce" or if Turn 10 is just amazing at optimising, but this game runs like an absolute dream. Probably the best port I've seen in the 2010s so far and that's saying quite a lot.
I can't download it on Windows 10 education that I got from my uni :what:
I can't download it on Windows 10 education that I got from my uni :what:
working fine on my education edition
It says I need to upgrade my version of windows even though I have an up to date installation, this is gonna be pretty lame if I have to reinstall to play UWP's
It really likes to eat ram even at lowest settings.
^ The lack of AO, AF (look at the distant liveries on the car), and texture AA makes it pretty obvious, the second one is the one on low settings.
FUCK FUCK FUUUUUUCK I CANT SWITCH STORAGE SPACES TO DOWNLOAD THIS FUCKING DRIVER :hairpull:
Its really great how you can't skip the stupid movie at the start, and if you click out of it, it will close and you have to start again [editline]9th May 2016[/editline] damn this game runs nice, on an 6600k @ 4.4ghz, 8gb ddr ram and an overclocked gtx 970 silky smooth at 2560x1440 on high
Actually, still try switching them from the settings app. It might still work. Mines installed on my HDD just fine, but others seem to have trouble with it.
That wont help because automatically goes to the storage drive with all the nvidia shit in witch is the dive with the most shit in it Edit:Ok it good now i fixed it
I'm in. For those curious, game feels exactly what you'd expect from Forza 6 on the One. Right down to the career being the same. However, as expected this is a beta. The recommended specs said that you should have at least 60 Gb's of storage space however the download was only 16-17 gb's. This is basically just the game engine and a handful of cars from each manufacture. Basically; this is roughly Forza 4 in terms of content if you didn't install the content disk. That too, you're missing the garage and marketplace. No customization just yet. But again, it's a beta. A free beta of a game that will still be free when it goes 60 GB's. I honestly love that we have it at all. I expect them to have a "Purchase full game" rather than pay for each car individually thing soon enough, I wouldn't mind that at all. .
Don't think they're adding any content per se, as they stated they won't do DLC and whatnot. Probably only wheel support and the like and save the real content for the next Forza title (Horizon 3 probs) which will also appear on W10
