David Cameron rekt by Speaker at Prime Minister's Questions
I think what's most annoying/concerning is David Cameron's confidence.
You could have an incredibly wise philosopher who has a clear lens, a strong sense of reality and actually knows about real issues. Yet, he might still get 'destroyed' in a debate with DC, simply because DC can shout louder and believes his drivel to be more correct.
Isn't that such a common problem, though? Even when a person is beaten in one thing such as a debate, they could still be entirely correct.

Looks like fun
The vibrancy of a parliament is only useful if it is applied constructively. I remember during the News of the World scandal, I was in London on a trip and I watched a session Live.
The looseness of procedure compared to American Congress allowed people to pelt Cameron with questions and allowed him to answer very quickly. A lot was done in just one three hour hearing.
Question time is not a step in the creation or the passage of legislation. It's merely a show for the public.
All the questions are pre-prepared along with the answers, they'll also try and cram as many soundbites in as they can.
I love the chaotic nature of the British parliament.
Take a look at stuff like the Malaysian government, they beat the shit out of eachother.
afaik it's been like this since parliament opened hundreds of years ago, 5 year old behavior and "sick diss blud init"
Imagine a wicked zinger in olde english.
All politicians are full of shit, I won't be voting this time round.
Someone should make a montage parody of all the zingers that have been thrown out in the british parliament.
"Congress with a two drink minimum".
Ruthless
It's always been like this. IDK I like it, makes it funny and sometimes they do wicked sick zingers.
I would say Cameron is pretty much the current king of deadpan snark zingers. Then again, he wasn't exactly going against the most difficult opponents these past few years. I'm not sure if I've heard Milliband say anything particularly funny though.

As they are in our parliament. It is still not a step in the passage of legislation. In our parliament, there are hearings at various times where they debate legislation, but question time isn't such a hearing, it's more of a broad questioning of government activity.

British Parliament doesn't compare to the chaotic nature of an Australian parliament, seriously
Bunch of baboons wearing suits throwing shit everywhere with the speaker yelling order every 2 seconds
Stuff like this is why I love PMQs, what other country has such a vibrant parliament?
Canada's parliament still comes out on top:

I have to take solace in that the true power actually lies in the House of Lords, that actually take the role seriously and do not howl at each other like a bunch of animals
Because if I don't I'd have to resort to alcoholism

Better than most of CSPAN.
