Uh, OH FUCK! WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE?
Science did nothing. O dang he beat me.
Is it permanently blue? D: Also, this is the only thing PETA members will see.
after researchers intentionally paralyzed this rat by dropping a weight on its back,
Alright.. I believe the hair is covering its skin (obvious?), so is the rats skin blue? How stupid would human look like..
Think about it though, how would it be with humans if the blue dye never wears off or takes years and years to diminish? Better than being paralyzed, but still, it would suck having bright blue skin.

Unless you get to decide what color you want to be!

D'Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
The team was surprised to find that the spinal cord was still blue—the rat's skin and eyes had returned to normal after one week
*cough*
Uh, OH FUCK! WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE?
Glad I still have my repellent stick.
The Blue Man Group may consist of people with spinal cord injuries at some point in the future, scientists say.
at first I was like :D but then I read this
Six weeks after injecting the blue dye, the research team killed and dissected the treated rat to inspect its spinal cord (pictured)—though not entirely without regrets. "It was so cute, that rat," study co-author Nedergaard said.
then I was like :(
Cutest. Cure. Ever. PETA are going to break their spines, then they won't accept the cure. Same with Cancer. I think natural selection is going to have it's way with them. Also, anyone wanna make that into an avatar, I'm not interested in using it, but I think some people would.
So when I see walking around, I know he's a paralysis victim.
The blue dye wears off after a while.
Where can I get myself a rat like that? ;)
I imagine the rat was just like "YOU CALL THAT BREAKING MY SPINE?" when they first dropped the weight. In other news, scientists are hard at work developing the Sandvich.
Holy shit a blue mouse.
Aww, they snapped his little spine. He had no idea what they were doing and was defenseless, how adorable!!! I'm kidding. I understand that it'll help people, but this seems cruel to me. At least it serves a purpose, unlike some of the animal cruelty I've seen in my life. By the way, I'm a rat lover, I currently have 5, which is why I doth protest.
I'd be a bit blue if someone broke my spine!
I'd be a bit blue if someone broke my spine!
Oh, for fuck sake, I might.

Become Paralyzed or a Smurf... What great options
So they injected the dye into his spine or somewhere else?
Become Paralyzed or a Smurf... What great options
The dye wears off. And the hat is free during the recovery period.
You'd give your mother to Amanda? :smug:
Touché.
I'm surprised there haven't been any "l0lol0l blue balls1!" comments yet.
