Im fine with Markiplier acting like an idiot, he can do whatever the fuck he wants as long as hes targeting whatever demographic he wants to target, and rolling in the cash from them. I'm impressed that hes working so hard for this shit, Markiplier probably spends atleast 12 hours a day recording, editing, and uploading videos, and he has to do that 7 days a week for 365 days a year. He must be really dedicated to his fans in order to not be like "fuck this shit" and turn to investing or some other long term income.
I like Markiplier and it's not like I care how much other peopl get paid but man... this is crazy They are either associated with him somehow or just like him because they retweet a lot of his tweets.
keemstar runs drama alert it's dumb to assume they're associated with him when it's clear they just want to maintain his attention so he'll talk about them on his channel
Fucking morons, why couldn't they hack Jinx? Or fucking Pepper?
kinda blows my mind to think that sort of money can be made making Let's Play videos. you can spend your entire life working a 9-5 job and never come close to that sort of money. gotta say though, Markiplier has the same shit dynamic as Pewdiepie, just sorta screams into the camera and acts like a turd. SeaNanners is a LPer I actually enjoy watching, cause he doesn't act like an idiot to get views.
Yeah but he plasters his face all over the thumbnails all the time and they get on my nerves.
'Releasing sensitive information' always scares me with high-visibility internet stars. Because if home addresses or family details are released, as has happened plenty before, there's likely to be at least one nutter who's seen this high-visibility person, and the next thing you know you have the danger for some very much not internet crime scary shit going on. I would genuinely fear for my life if my personal details were leaked as a famous gamer.
They are either associated with him somehow or just like him because they retweet a lot of his tweets.
i may be misremembering after all this time but i remember keemstar owning/running a halo 3 griefing group called F@G (lol.) birds of a feather
Of all people, why Markiplier? Why not people who deserve it like DSPGaming, Jinx, Sam Pepper or even Keemstar?
They are either associated with him somehow or just like him because they retweet a lot of his tweets.
If these guys are indeed related to Keemstar as unlikely of a coincidence that is they really, really need to fuck off pronto. Don't see how it can't be both, as if it were some sort of appeasement for their supposed "god" since his fanbase is rabid like that.
Of all people, why Markiplier? Why not people who deserve it like DSPGaming, Jinx, Sam Pepper or even Keemstar?
Because his name was first one that caught in the eye from the .txt file.
Fucking morons, why couldn't they hack Jinx? Or fucking Pepper?
Nobody would care because those guys are assholes that nobody likes. These guys wanted attention.
Nobody would care because those guys are assholes that nobody likes. These guys wanted attention.
What do you mean nobody would care? If no one cared, why was there petitions asking YouTube to ban Sam Pepper? If they didn't care, that also means they just strolled past his controversial "killing friend prank" that got him a lot of attention.

Though at this point, I'm sure he's big enough that he doesn't do that anymore, no? Seems that once YTers get to a certain size, they get taken in by a production company that handles all that editing crap
Of all people, why Markiplier? Why not people who deserve it like DSPGaming, Jinx, Sam Pepper or even Keemstar?
Is DSP being dumb at games really enough for him to "deserve" having his info leaked or is there something genuinely awful that he did that I don't know about?
Is DSP being dumb at games really enough for him to "deserve" having his info leaked or is there something genuinely awful that he did that I don't know about?
Well the worst thing i've seen him do from my memory is scam his fans (even though his fans are as bright as sea urchins)out of their money on Patreon for some project called "Project 7" or something, only to close his Patreon and keep their money. Yet that was 2015 so :v:
.

Why Mark? I'm not a fan of his but there are much worse people on YouTube. Why didn't they do that to somebody much worse, like, you know, Sam Pepper?
Is there an update? Is everything ok now?
Is there an update? Is everything ok now?
Yeah, him and the guys got the channel back as of yesterday. They just don't mention it to not give the hackers fame.
Yeah, him and the guys got the channel back as of yesterday. They just don't mention it to not give the hackers fame.
That's a relief, I used to not like him, but since the second half of last year, I've grown fond of him. No one deserves anything like this, I think Pewdie's persona when LPing is obnoxious, but I wouldn't desecrate his privacy like that for that reason.
He hired a guy to help him edit his videos when he can't do it but he still edit most of his videos by himself.
I wish I was YT famous :(
I wish I was YT famous :(
You can be if you believe in yourself. [sp]Or just pay for subs like a scrub.[/sp]
"these people deserve to be hacked because i don't like them" nice
Thing is, they are horrible people. Mark is actually a very kind dude who's donated thousands of dollars to charity and, while I'm not one of them, his videos do bring a ray of happiness to a lot of his watchers. What do DSPGaming, Jinx or Sam Pepper's vids provide? Nothing but frustration and toxicity.
-snip-
"these people deserve to be hacked because i don't like them" nice
Keemstar uses fame to harass people and has doxxed people and Pepper is a rapist I mean if you don't like internet vigilante justice that's fine but there's a lot more concrete reason to go after them than markiplier
-snip-
how about n o b o d y deserves to get hacked because that's a shitty thing to do? [editline]14th January 2016[/editline] how does hacking their youtube account resolve either of these problems.
It's certainly illegal, but it's not ethically wrong either, all things considered. It's a 'thief gets robbed' situation. Remove some of their income. Make a statement that says 'you are a horrible person and you won't get away with your shit.' Had the hackers screwed with them, I wouldn't condone their actions, but I would at least somewhat respect them for having a go at someone who deserved it.
