UK Citizens Petition Government to Ban Donald Trump from Country

I see the UK is keeping up with banning people from their nation who offend them. Trump is a colossal asshole, but banning him from a nation is almost a form of censorship.
May we ban him from our country too?
Perhaps its time the Republicans died and got replaced like their predecessors, the Whigs.
The problem isn't with republicans, republicans are normally a reasonable group of people who believe in some great things like a small military, they may have different opinions on issues like immigration and government oversight, but can usually come to an agreement after a discussion.
The problem is with republican voters, who vote for tea party members instead of actual republicans. The problem is that actual republican politicians have to pretend to be crazy, and talk about shit they don't care about like guns and jesus, or else the voters will vote for somebody who actually is crazy. Even if the republican party died, the cancer that's killing it would still exist.

I think the issue here is more a matter of principle, if Tyler the Creator can be banned for making a rap that upset Theresa May then Trump should also be Banned for making inflammatory remarks about London as a whole.
Just breached 300K!

To save thier wind turbines.
The guy is a tycoon and owns a golf course in Scotland, you'd be mad to ban him because of the pandering left frothing at the mouth.
Half the votes are probably scottish, they hate him and what he stands for.
Please take him. We don't want him either.
Ban him from planet Earth.
300k signatures now
It's just an ironic joke guys, nothing will come of this.
IMO no one should be banned from a country for free speech. If they incite hate within the country then that's a different story.

Trump's toxicity, and that of his supporters, is rapidly approaching if not already breaching the line of public endangerment.
Alabama Trump supporters are apparently not against beating the shit of out a lone Trump protester.
I find it ironic when people want to protect this man's freedom of speech while the people who speak out against him are in danger of being choked and beaten by a mob, especially after Trump then uses his freedom of speech to support the actions of these thug-like fans.
kill and devour the trump
kill and devour the trump
Stump the trump?
Honestly, I would expect trumps numbers to go UP if the UK bans him.

Electoral college would stop him gettign executive office though. Hes too... nuts and being banned from the UK would be inappropriate for pres
The wide-scale islamaphobia he's promoting goes a goes a little further than just saying offensive things don't you think?
That is literally what that is, he's saying offensive things. Like you can try and say it's really double dooper super offensive but frankly that's subjective, personally I find this whole thing vehemently offensive and disgusting.
Lol if this goes through doesn't that pretty effectively end his campaign since as a political leader being banned from another country is kinda game-ending?
Haha, no, if he manages to become president I don't expect he'd be banned from the UK for long. Part of me is morbidly curious though, like I'd be okay with having a crystal ball to see what would happen but I'm not curious enough to want to see him as president. (I'd still laugh if he was elected though, if only to keep from crying)

Attacking his 1st Amendment rights (not that this affects them, the UK does not provide rights to American citizens) is just as bad as his supporters attacking somebody else for exercising their own 1st Amendment rights.
Electoral college would stop him gettign executive office though. His banning from the UK would have absolutely no effect on that process, it might influence the voters to like him more (or dislike him) but that's something entirely different.

But given that the UK already has this system in place, I think it's important that all offenders are put through it.
If Tyler the creator should be banned - Trump should be as well.

How the fuck can a person be so far up their own ass?
"Revitalize Scotland."
Does he know what that term means? How the fuck does building things that cater exclusively to wealthy people revitalize fucking anything?

Suddenly free speech doesn't count when its something you don't like?
Fucking jail him if he goes over there and commits actual crimes not for saying words that 'incite hate'

I have to disagree with you. Being banned from entering the UK for what you say is not an eradication of your American-born rights, it's a removal of the privilege to enter that the UK had previously given you for free.
Fearing for your life, trapped on the ground while a mob physically assaults you for protesting Trump, now that is a crime in validation of your right to free speech.
The first amendment doesn't mean you should be free of consequences for what you say. It grants you the right to say what you want without your inherent rights being endangered, the most important of those rights being your life. If a country that operates independently from the US government chooses to discriminate against you for your words, there's no violation of your American rights. It means you have done enough to warrant its citizens' fear of your influence on their country's people.
Trump will NOT suffer an affront on his right to safety because the UK issues him a ban. Mercutio Southall WAS persecuted for his speech when he was beaten by Trump supporters, in violation of the rights his nation and its citizens are supposed to respect.

Yes, but neither of them should be banned in the first place.
That's stupid. The guy isn't gonna win the presidency, he is and will continue to be powerless, what is banning him gonna do exactly? Banning anyone from a whole country, forever for "hate speech", especially when they're as harmless as Trump (what's he gonna do, beat a Muslim with his bare hands? Yeah right) is stupid, you'd have to ban pretty much all the chavs in London.
Lol if this goes through doesn't that pretty effectively end his campaign since as a political leader being banned from another country is kinda game-ending?
No because those dirty Brits are all TEA DRINKING SOCIALISTS who support the da-gum MUSLIMS
Grgghag Muslims! Evil! *incoherent ramblings*
Yes, but neither of them should be banned in the first place.
Exactly the point! Lemmie quote the page for the petition a moment...
The UK has banned entry to many individuals for hate speech. The same principles should apply to everyone who wishes to enter the UK.
If the United Kingdom is to continue applying the 'unacceptable behaviour' criteria to those who wish to enter its borders, it must be fairly applied to the rich as well as poor, and the weak as well as powerful.
Check out the page and click "more details"
This is a means of showing just how corrupt and two faced our government can be and if they refuse to ban Trump they are suggesting that they would be willing to let people get away with all kinds of crimes provided you pay the UK government enough.
The top three petitions right now:
