Trump can go fuck himself
no its not, offensive things have no positive outcome on a populous and therefore are derogatory towards progression and should be stamped out, especially if its the fucking retarded stupid lies trump farts out.
This is the most insane attitude towards censorship I've ever seen. "Offensive things" is way too broad of a category to be "stomped out". Please don't attempt to interfere in any of our elections with such a terrifyingly authoritarian outlook like this.
I agree with that statement but Trump definitely goes somewhat further than 'saying offensive things'
not really
if trump gets banned from the uk I hope he gets elected I'd love to see the shitstorm when the uk bans our president

I find your post offensive and I believe it has no positive outcome on this populous.

Id love to see the shitshow that would be your country

Yes really, Trump isnt really spewing random offensive shit to stir up the media and garner support from PC hating people, if he was, he'd be saying shit like "put niggers in jail or send them back to Africa" every speech.
Trump targets what he says on controversial things that people don't know a lot about, and uses that ignorance, controversy, and his position to his advantage, leading a surprising amount of people to believe that a hell of a lot more Muslims are gonna be potential terrorists or that immigrants will destroy the country. He also uses very specific speech patterns to sound much stronger, more confident, and knowledgable in what he's saying, which again, reinforces the idea in people's minds that "hey, mabye this guy is on to something."
I'm sure Trump knows exactly what he's doing and saying, and he's damn great at playing everyone like a fiddle while doing it to get to his goals.
Edit: sorry if there's some broken English / wierd grammar here and there, its not very easy typing stuff on a phone.

he says controversial or downright offensive things on purpose. that's not better or worse than saying them on accident
You can be choked and/or beaten for saying anything, if you say it in the right place.
I don't care if it's Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders, the UK has no business having such a huge impact on an American presidential election as to completely end the run of a major candidate, especially through such a relatively small amount of people on an ONLINE petition.
If his run was ended as a response to this, it would mean less than a million people in a FOREIGN country had more say in our election than people on either side of the political spectrum.
Regardless of the man's politics, assuming he was elected, the UK banning a US president from entering their country would be huge. A kneejerk stunt like that has no business in international politics and UK leadership is a bunch of literal children if they even consider this.
Your presidential election should have no effect on how we rule our country. If we want to ban a retarded arrogant war mongering rich boy who just so happens to be running for president of the US, then we will, we can always do diplomacy by email.
Man, three pages of serious debate. It's a dumb internet petition that people signed because they thought it'd be funny. This doesn't mean dick
HM Government believes the President of the United States should be extended the full courtesy of a State Visit. We look forward to welcoming President Trump once dates and arrangements are finalised.
HM Government recognises the strong views expressed by the many signatories of this petition, but does not support this petition.
During her visit to the United States on 27 January 2017, the Prime Minister, on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, invited President Trump for a State Visit to the UK later this year. The invitation was accepted. This invitation reflects the importance of the relationship between the United States of America and the United Kingdom. At this stage, final dates have not yet been agreed for the State Visit.

Related, I couldn't find the other thread that had it to this one.
Let's cripple his ability to do diplomatic work in foreign countries!!! Hell yeah!!

A state visit is seen as an honor and is received by the Queen. The only presidents to have been extended state visits in the past were W and Obama. Nothing to do with his ability to conduct diplomacy beyond hurting his feelings.
I don't like Trump but fuck the UK for banning people just because they dislike them. I swear to god whenever I hear "Ban" and the "UK" in the same sentence I get a literal stroke.
Even Tyler the Creator is banned like what the fuck. What a baby country, grow up
He didn't get banned. This was a citizen's petition. This thread is also a year old, so it's safe to say that Trump will not be getting banned from the UK.
I realize here are still relevant bits of news for this but no one is gonna look for the updated post and is just gonna read the OP and get mad. Make a new thread for new info.
